I am not reading them. You can tell they are propaganda trying to sell the current play into old meaningless ideas.
We’ve got to stop looking at things as if they are fixed, like some 300 year old painting. Today our images are much more fluid.

It is very difficult to know the real truth about what the Iranian “regime” really represents, and if it is today “controlled” or not. However, the evidence does show us that the Shah had to be removed as he refused to be controlled and he was making Iran into a regional super power. He also made great effort to modernize Iran and to industrialize the country. The mullahs who came to power in 1979 were certainly backed by the British security services, and by other western powers such as France.
The reality of this Iranian “regime” is perplexing. They fully played along with the Convid scam and they absolutely love wearing face masks. Seeing all those mullahs with their face masks balancing over their beards is farcical and also quite depressing.
What I do know is that the average iranian citizen has no deep hatred for israel. The jews have been part of iranian society for about 2000 years and they are largely not persecuted by the islamic government. The relationship between the jews and the persians is ancient, and this “islamic” government in Iran is in many ways an anomaly in historical terms. Many iranians still have some level of resentment about the imposition of islam after the 7th Century invasions, and many feel that islamic culture is “inferior” to persian culture. I suppose the government officials shout and rant against israel in order to create the sense of having a foreign enemy and to distract the population. Most Iranians just want to have a good life, to chase girls and to drive a Mercedes Benz. Most iranian women are more interested in makeup, plastic surgery and in finding a rich husband (although they are also very educated!). The mass of the population does not share the passionate hatred towards israel that the mullahs display. Yes, we all know that israel sold weapons and crucial spare parts to Iran during the war with Iraq. However, this does not necessarily prove that the mullahs in Iran are “controlled”. It could just simply be a result of practical, and strategic, business arrangements. After all, Iran was in chaos after the 1979 Revolution and the new “regime” executed many high ranking military officers and undermined the armed forces (almost in the same way as Stalin did). The mullas tried to undermine the army as they feared they were still loyal to the Shah. For israel it was also logical to continue the arms sales to Iran, as israel certainly did not want an Iraqi victory and it was far preferable that Iran & Iraq bleed each other. So it is very difficult to know who is really “controlled”, as often apparent “enemies” will cooperate if there is a practical reason to do so.
