French police used teargas and water cannon to break up a banned rally in support of the Palestinian people in Paris on Thursday, as President Emmanuel Macron urged the French to remain united and refrain from bringing the Israel-Hamas conflict home.
Macron’s interior minister had earlier banned pro-Palestinian protests, saying they were “likely to generate disturbances to public order”.
France is home to Europe’s largest Muslim and Jewish communities. The Middle East conflict has often stoked domestic tensions in the past.
“This event is an earthquake for Israel, the Middle East and beyond,” Macron said in a solemn TV address. “Let’s not pursue at home ideological adventures by imitating or projecting.”
“Let’s not add, through illusions or calculations, domestic divides to international divides,” he said. “The shield of unity will protect us from hatred and excesses.”
Macron said the government had acted to boost police protection of Jewish sites, including schools and synagogues, and that there could be no justification for atrocities.
Before he spoke, the far-left France Unbowed party faced criticism for refusing to call the Hamas attack an act of terrorism, causing tension with its Socialist and Green opposition partners.
Banned Rally
Despite the ban, several hundred pro-Palestinian demonstrators gathered in central Paris in separate groups that police forces sought to keep from merging.

This was foreseen, maybe even planned, over a century ago. In a letter to Henry Mazzini, dated August 15, 1871, Albert Pike, a prominent Freemason explained how the old order would be swept away
This would be done through “three world wars”, Pike wrote.

As to how other nations would be “divided on this issue”, one need only look at the West’s abandonment of strict immigration controls to see how this has allowed a huge influx of migrants whose political aspirations are often at odds with the host nation. As a result Europe and America are now dangerously fractured with divisions over a conflict that is raging on another continent.
Nor is it a coincidence that similar relaxed immigration policies have been followed throughout the West, despite widespread popular opposition. Indeed, it was probably a masonic requirement that anyone who had a chance running for office had to allow lax immigration controls, even if they publicly campaigned against them.
While the Palestinians certainly deserve our sympathy and support that is not to endorse the slaughter of Israeli civilians either.
We need to see what is happening in the context of a broader, diabolical plan and recognize that these designs are now unfolding before us. Ed.

The letter is an obvious hoax. It could not have been written by Pike.
I don’t understand how Albert Pike could have discussed Nazism in his letter of 1871, when Nazism wasn’t invented until after its precursor, the German Workers Party, was founded on January 5th, 1919.
Problem is, the Pike letter is spurious, since it uses words in the letter such as ‘Fascism, Zionism & Nazism’ that didn’t even exist at the supposed time (1871) of the writing. Likely fabricated in the 1930’s & falsely attributed to Pike.
