Historian Victor Davis Hanson sat down with Tucker Carlson to discuss his perspective on the current political climate in the US, asserting that American liberalism is characterized by dishonesty, and warning about what he sees as liberal efforts to introduce a highly intolerant age.
“It’s hard for most Americans to comprehend the total dishonesty of American liberalism.”
VDH says Trump represents a significant threat to the specific vision held by liberals, who are employing a “critical legal theory,” in which traditional moral values are abandoned in favor of whatever gains power.
“Liberals are now telling us they plan to protect American democracy and that’s the clearest possible sign that they intend to end it.”
Most specifically, Hanson told Carlson that:
“I think they’ve come to the conclusion that Trump is an existential threat and by association, half the country is to their vision of what they want to transform us into, and so they feel that whatever means necessary are justified.”
And this is an issue since Hanson pointed out that while some conservatives were speaking up, they are also fighting a culture in the Republican Party that preferred to “lose nobly” as opposed to winning elections in an “ugly” manner.
Hanson emphasizes that the traditional boundaries and norms are being renegotiated, from the Senate filibuster and the Electoral College to societal understandings of gender and language, raising concerns that:
“We’re in the middle of a cultural, economic, political revolution,” but “we think that we’re still playing within the same sidelines or parameters, and we’re not. Everything’s under negotiation.”
Hanson argues that the legal actions against Trump are politically motivated and biased and designed to send a message to the half of America that will not simple ‘comply’:
“The idea is now that we now have the power to do this, and because we have the power to do it, it’s moral and right, and if you don’t like it, what are you doing to do about it?”
Finally, Hanson issues a call to action of sorts, noting that “There are legitimate efforts to rectify and stop this madness and let’s see what happens in 2024.”
“You need leaders who will tell people we are in a Jacobin takeover of this country, and the old get along at any cost does not work,” Hanson said.
“I hope everybody can keep their head because I think the next 12 to 18 months are going to be the most explosive in our history since the Great Depression.”

I’m glad a “historian” has told us this, otherwise I would never have known. And this highlights a major problem: the delegation of wisdom to establishment credentialled “experts”.
When the experts are not aligned to our general alternative consensus, we criticise them, but when other of the credentialled fraternity come into bat for us, we laud their doctorates and professorships, thereby supporting the current academic platform. A “doctor”, “professor”, “historian”, “reverend”, or “lord” etc., may be on the right side of the debate, but it is not because of the laurel leaves bestowed on them by a bankrupt system.
Those on the side of truth might do better than waving their often irrelevant PhDs in our face as though they were penises…

How can democracy not be stone dead in the US and in the rest of the West?
It is not just the complete corruption of the electoral system through electronic and mail-in voting, or the top-down selection of candidates and issues, which are the paramount problems. It is the fragmentation and division of the people.
Any fool can see that our elections are now completely controlled from the top-down corporatocracy, made up of the international banking cartel, the major corporations, and our entrenched ever-growing deep-state governments, all out of reach or the common people and their votes. Our nations themselves are essentially corporations where the people in charge have absolutely no trust in the common people running anything really important such as a nation or their government, nor do they want such a trust. They will do everything to keep us divided.
The bigger the corporation the more autocratic power has to be exercised. The bigger the empire the more top-down authority which has to be exercised to keep it together. Then there is the fact that the people running the smaller corporations are also in subservient roles afraid of losing all they have, and they also tend to be a part of that same top-down power structure. No dog is inclined to bite the hand that feeds them. During Covid we found no corporations of any note resistant to the government pressures and non-compliant. The resistance was all grass roots and many people lost their jobs.
The idea of a constitutional democracy presumes some kind of honesty, good will, and virtue in the people in order to function. The US is now a showcase to the world of how democracy has failed, and that quite obviously has been the plan of the nation-busting globalists. Biden bumbling is no accident. For top-down corporate globalism to work people simply have to stop believing in their particular nations, their cultures, their religions, and especially that thing called democracy which cannot exist without shared religious values and moral principles among the people.
As for issues in elections, the hidden potentates running things do in fact determine what issues are allowed to be discussed and what the people are allowed to vote on. In the last federal elections in the US and in Canada there was no mention of the Covid plandemic or the totally unnecessary and toxic vaccines. Does anyone in the US really think their candidates will be allowed to debate their nation’s backing of the war against Russia in the Ukraine or the one in Syria? Even if those issues were debated the people would be so brainwashed by the media to make them nonissues, and if that did not work there are always voting machines and fake ballots to rely upon.
With Trump what we saw was many grass-roots types wanting to make their nation “great again” which translated into giving trillions more to the military-industrial complex. The problems was that for most Americans it appears that greatness has very little to do with goodness. It seems that they want to have their democracy and eat it as well.
The people of 1776 were a different breed from most Americans of today. They shared enough common virtues and religious beliefs to unite them without having to rig elections.
The contradictions between negro slavery and liberty unfortunately had to be worked out the hard way, but that conflict was helped along by Great Britain, which eventually took back control of the nation mainly through the Rothschild money power, which now is busy trying to end nation states altogether – with the intention, no doubt, to be enthroned as a sovereign dynasty over what they call the “New World Order”, which of course is a conspiracy theory.
Key to the demise of both nations is the killing of Christianity by a very secular and totally humanist establishment – mainly through the imposition of the fake materialistic creed of evolutionism (kicking God out of everything – creation, history, science, politics, morality, and even religion), and through the deliberate spread of cultural Marxism – all having the desired effect of fragmenting the people so they can never unite to take back control of their governments, their nations, or their lives.
Its not ‘liberalism’ but Communism. Problem is both major parties (Zionist/Communist aka Republican/Democrat) are covertly managed by the Semitic State–a cabal of Jewish bankers/oligarchs/rabbis.
