Robert F Kennedy Jr is reported to be ending his challenge to Joe Biden for the Democratic presidential nomination and run instead as an independent candidate, in a move that could upset the 2024 race for the White House.
Kennedy, 69 and a scion of a famous political dynasty – a son of the former US attorney general and New York senator Robert F Kennedy, and a nephew of the former president John F Kennedy – will announce his run in Pennsylvania on 9 October, according to Mediaite.
“Bobby feels that the Democratic National Committee is changing the rules to exclude his candidacy so an independent run is the only way to go,” the website quoted a “Kennedy campaign insider” as saying.
Whether Kennedy; Cornel West, the Green party pick; or a notional nominee backed by No Labels, a supposedly centrist group, a third-party candidate is widely seen to be likely to peel more support from Biden than the likely Republican nominee, Donald Trump, thereby potentially handing the presidency to the Republican.
Kennedy is an attorney who made his name as an environmental campaigner before achieving notoriety as a prominent vaccine sceptic, particularly over Covid-19. His campaign has been rife with controversy, not least in a podcast interview released this week in which he repeated a conspiracy theory about the 9/11 attacks on New York.
His campaign has also been roiled by an antisemitism scandal after Kennedy told reporters at a press dinner that Covid-19 was “ethnically targeted” at white people and Black people, while Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese people had greater immunity. The false claim was embraced by neo-Nazi groups and condemned by scientists and Jewish organizations.
Kennedy’s remarks echoed antisemitic tropes that circulated widely during the pandemic and portrayed the coronavirus as a global Jewish plot, causing members of Kennedy’s own family to denounce him for “deplorable and untruthful” comments.
Polling has shown Kennedy performing relatively well against Biden, the incumbent president, in the Democratic primary, but not close to posing a serious threat.
However, Biden aides are reportedly nervous about the possible impact of third-party candidates in a likely presidential election match-up with Trump.
Polling shows widespread concerns, including among Democrats, that at 80, Biden is too old to serve an effective second term in the White House. Trump is only three years younger – and faces 91 criminal charges, including for election subversion, and assorted civil threats – but polls show less concern among his fervent Republican base that he could be unfit to return to office.
Rightwing figures – prominent among them Steve Bannon, formerly Trump’s White House strategist – have encouraged Kennedy to run against Biden or as an independent.
As cited by Mediaite, in July the Fox News host Greg Gutfeld said: “I think he should run as a third-party candidate because I do think he should, he would win.”
But not every observer thought Kennedy’s move would be bad for Biden.
Joe Conason, the editor of the National Memo, said: “Go Bobby! Running ‘independent’ means you’ll draw more voters from the candidate you resemble most in political ideology, personal conduct, and narcissistic mentality. (That’s Trump, not Biden.)”
The reason to run as an independent, is to get Biden or his chosen successor in to the White House.

Let’s say two more years for the UKraine theater, and then 2/3 years for the Nazis to lick their wounds. So we’re talking 2027/28. If Trump does another term, so a new president, and probably a name we don’t know at this point in time. Consider the US debt, assuming the Nazi US hasn’t gone tits up before then, and what state will Nazi NATO be in?

Americans will probably put in Biden again. Of course everything will be rigged from the primaries to all the payoffs and right to the electronic voting machines, but most people won’t mind because that is the American way. Everyone who is anyone is a “put-in” and even in Russia Putin is a put-in, as his name suggests. But Biden in fact is the most honest and truthful President for Americans, because his mind is demented with Alzheimer’s that he is incapable of remembering anything much less in how to tell a lie. All he has to do is to repeat the short prompts coming into his ear phones and in the intervals repeat them in his speeches and keep practicing his signature for all of the documents his Washington handlers give him to sign. He has neither a clue about what he is saying or what he signs into law.
He is the most perfect President the Americans could ever wish for, because there is no pretense that he is exercising any real Presidential powers. Clearly he can’t even if he wanted to. On one hand he is on a pedophile anklet which will not allow him to run away, and on the other hand there is no feed-back or resistance to all of the prompts going into his head. Other than his memory lapses and getting his mords wixed up he is the perfect conduit from the US deep state to the people telling them virtually anything they want. If he is replaced with someone really pretending to be in charge, there will only be more confusion. All other contenders including Trump, Cruz, and Kennedy are only fakes in their pretenses that once elected they will have any real powers, whereas, Joe ,after his next term will go down in the history books as “Honest Joe” surpassing even the greatness of Honest Abe. He never told a lie because he never really knew what was going on to tell one, and he was the most transparent because even the citizens could see right through him knowing that he had no real powers. Also, he will go down as the most useful President in finally waking the American people up to the facts of life that no matter how their votes are counted, in the final analysis they mean nothing, and that those who really are running things are never elected.

I believe RFK Jr will be the main front running candidate for the Democrats or definitely as an independent.
He could just about take enough of the electoral votes as an independent to oust Biden from the equation, and possibly let Trump back into the White House. Though the American public are being slowly turned against Trump because of his legal wranglings (via the Elites and Corporate Media). So he probably won’t get re-elected even if he is the Republican front runner.
What America needs to do fast. Is awaken from their semi comatose state, and start looking for a more independent candidate who doesn’t really have too many political ambitions. Who doesn’t particularly want the job!

Robert Kennedy seems to be an “establishment man”: the “official” opposition to what is construed as mainstream. In his book, he criticises Fauci. Fauci should be worried. TPTB clearly have marked him as “expendable”.

Any intelligent man or woman who follows 9/11 knows Israel was behind it. They know the building were brought down by controlled demolitions. Any intelligent thoughtful member of the “public jury” can see that. We do not need to defer the issue to experts, as the experts have already had their say from which we may conclude our own verdict.
