The Austin City Council unanimously voted to cut its police department budget by $150 million on Thursday, after officers and the city’s top cop faced months of criticism over the killing of an unarmed Black and Hispanic man, the use of force against anti-police brutality protesters and the investigation of a demonstrator’s fatal shooting by another citizen.
Those criticisms coincided with protests across Texas and the country calling for reforms on police tactics and the “defunding” of law enforcement in favor of redistributing funds to social services and alternative public safety programs. The council’s move makes Austin the first of Texas’ four biggest cities to drastically cut police department funding. The share of the police department budget that was cut is among the largest percentage decreases in the nation this year.
Council member Greg Casar, who crafted the three-tiered plan to reduce the police department budget, said when the Austin community organizes and asks for change, he wants to make sure the council can respond effectively.

Austin Police in Texas asked residents to call 311 if they get robbed near an ATM over the weekend as the department struggles amid an increase in urban crime and staffing shortages.
The Austin Police Department posted a graphic in a post on X, formerly Twitter, to urge residents to call 311 or make an online report if they’re robbed; 311 is a number usually reserved for non-emergency requests, as opposed to 911.
“Even if you are cautious & follow all the safety advice, you may still become the unfortunate victim of a robbery,” the Austin Police Department wrote on X. “Do you know what your next steps should be?
“Make a police report & provide as much information as possible so we can recover your property quickly and safely,” the post added. The graphic included advice to mention the bank in the 311 report and include the date and time of the cash withdrawal.
Austin Police sent Fox News Digital a statement clarifying the post and affirmed that anyone who is assaulted or threatened during a robbery should call 911.
“The post was intended for victims of a jugging in general and not specific to robberies. Jugging is a form of theft that includes both robbery and burglary,” Austin Police explained in a statement. “It occurs when a suspect follows a victim from a bank to their next location before committing the crime.
“If your money was stolen from your car and the crime is no longer in progress, you can call 311 or make an online report.”
The post comes as the Texas capital grapples with a rise in crime. Compared to 2020, Austin has had a 77% increase in auto thefts, an 18% increase in aggravated assaults and a 30% increase in murders.
Do people deserve violence? Do people deserve crime? No.
But they must endure the consequences of their decisions until those actions precipitate a different response.
For now, we laugh at life in 2023 Austin, a world white liberals birthed. Soon: this abomination is ended.

The Lostin PD continued with more “advice”, “Make a police report & provide as much information as possible so we can recover your property quickly and safely,” … Hardy har har. They will most certainly not “recover your property”, and certainly not “quickly and safely”. Be resigned to the fact that your sh*t is gone, you should have been paying much more attention to your surroundings, should have been armed to the teeth, and NEVER should have let some sniveling libtard shit-stain like Greg Casar gain a seat on the city council in the first place.
Lostin is kind of an outlier in Texas, a cesspool of liberalism in the center of a conservative state. Austin used to be a fun town to hang out in a couple decades ago but it rapidly hit the skids, doesn’t hold the negroid street simians accountable for their despicable behavior, and you’d have to be dangerously stupid to want to spend one stinking centavo there. Just like all cities run (into the ground) by leftists, they’re well on the way to Destination F*cked.
For now, we laugh at life in 2023 Austin, a world of white liberals and demonic Jews. If people thought the election year of 2020 was chaos, just wait and see what happens for 2024; the US will become utter madness and mayhem the likes of which this country has never seen. Any sane person with any sane thinking skills and foresight can see the writing on the wall in the present.
One often sees article advertising in the USA and elsewhere, “the coming civil war”. I submit this like WWIII, essentially the same thing, is already upon us.
It is very clear that the Black demographic has been used as unthinking mass of social change. Into this we may factor drug crime.
The lower and maybe somewhat principled police ranks are competing by proxy with the transnational elements who weaponise the social change dynamics. There is no doubt tension at some level where old concepts of the rule of law, constitution, and nation, with banksters, alphabet agencies, and the funny hand shakers. I imagine there are battles being fought all over in low key settings; perhaps where public officials are being “led” in White guilt inducing sessions, or where politically favoured police are trying to see how they can arrest fewer Blacks and increase Whites arrested. The list goes on…
The end result is an asymmetric war whereby Black are given a free pass — by degrees — by the social engineering, but Whites will be held to a higher standard as per the traditional application of law. I saw this first hand at an early age in an incident I will recall that might strike some as comical:
When I was about eight years old, a friend — half caste as it happened — and myself used to attend Sunday School. There was some friction between us and a couple of Black kids. When we were walking past them along a pew in front of them they kicked out at us as we passed. The White Sunday School teachers — demonstrating their liberalism — promptly kicked us out of Sunday School when we reacted. No action was taken against the Black kids. So, I knew at an early age how this asymmetric warfare — double standard — worked. When I later became a school teacher myself I observed the greater latitude given to Blacks in terms of their behaviour, but in fairness to them, why impose a White civilisational structure upon them?
But you know, blaming Blacks in themselves for group actions is like blaming water for being wet.

There is something curious about the threat of a “coming civil war”. By placing it in the future it seemingly negates its current reality. But the “coming civil war” meme also stymies radical political action now. The “coming civil war” is perceived as a sort of “second coming” millennialism whereby things will “get sorted out by guns”. But the frog is already being boiled.
Put it this way: imagine soldiers shooting, stabbing, gassing, and blowing each other up in 1914-18. One says to the other, “This is very serious. I can see a war coming…”

I notice from the graphic in the article, the would be thief is White. This reminds me of a public information film where a White guy acts sexually inappropriately to a Black or mixed race woman. The White guy’s Black friend reprimands him for his behaviour….As if….
