Truth is the first casualty in war and the conflict in Ukraine is no exception.
The Western mainstream media has consistently played down the scale of Ukraine’s casualties while giving maximum coverage to its limited gains.
The Western powers are fueling this war in an effort to drain Russia economically and militarily. However, the plan has backfired: Ukrainian forces are taking colossal casualties in return for at best, incremental advances.
If the Western public realized how they are fueling this process with their government’s lavish military aid they might actively oppose support for Ukraine. However, they don’t grasp the full extent of the failed counteroffensive because the western media deliberately misinforms them.
So while over the past three months there has been a massive slaughter or young Ukrainians the Western media has played down the full extent of Kiev’s casualties. While they’ve given maximum coverage to its few successes.
Like the Ukrainian drone strikes on Russia, which were militarily insignificant but were given far more coverage in the mainstream media than Kiev’s casualties.
As a result many Westerners still believe that Western military aid can possibly help thwart Russia’s plans in Ukraine. With most westerners still totally oblivious to the human cost this entails for young Ukrainians.
To put this into perspective, over the past three months during the counteroffensive Ukraine has lost 66,000 men. On average that’s 733 killed per day, sometimes more sometimes less. In contrast the U.S. lost over 58,000 in Vietnam from July 1965 till 1973 when it withdrew its forces.
So Ukraine has just lost more men killed in 3 months than the U.S. did in eight years during the height of the Vietnam War.
Yet despite these casualty figures you will find barely any mention of this in the western mainstream media. That’s because the west’s leaders don’t want voters to comprehend the ugly details of a war their taxes are bankrolling. And make no mistake, the western media operates entirely on the interests of the western ruling elite. That also explains why Russia Today, from which the following article was extracted, was effectively banned in the UK months ago. Ed.
Russian MOD estimates Ukraine’s counteroffensive casualties

Ukraine has suffered heavy losses during three months of its summer counteroffensive against Russia but has failed to achieve its goals at any part of the front line, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu has reported.
Kiev’s forces have lost more than 66,000 troops and over 7,600 heavy weapons since launching their push in early June, the Russian official estimated on Tuesday.
Despite the “colossal” cost in manpower and equipment, the Ukrainian government continues its operation because it desperately needs to show some kind of success to its Western sponsors, Shoigu also claimed.
The most tense situation remains in Zaporozhye Region, where Kiev deployed brigades from its strategic reserves that had been trained with the help of Western instructors, the minister said.
He provided details about Russian military units involved in repelling Ukrainian attacks in various directions before describing Kiev’s counteroffensive as a failure. In an attempt to obfuscate this reality, “Ukrainian militants are attacking civilian objects and tout those terrorist attacks as military victories,” Shoigu alleged.
The defense minister was speaking at a government meeting with Russian military leaders.
The minister’s last update of this type was in late July and put Ukrainian losses at some 20,800 troops and 2,200 pieces of weaponry.
Kiev does not disclose statistics about its military losses but Ukrainian officials have acknowledged that their counteroffensive was proceeding poorer than had been hoped, and is being waged at a serious cost to the army.
This is a happy Wednesday to know this many Nazis are dead, and even more, seriously wounded.
As I’ve said in previous comments, any UKrainian with half a brain left a long time ago, although the Nazis are asking the Polish Nazis to round up UKrainians in Poland, and send them back for cannon fodder.
The really sensible UKrainians fled to Russia.
But none of this changes the basic fact the dead Nazis is a good thing, and many of these dead Nazis are from NATO countries as uniform swappers or mercenaries. All the same, we hope Russia keeps killing them in huge numbers.
Biden wants the war to go on for at least another 15 months, so we are looking at another 150k to 250k dead Nazis, and these are not unrealistic estimates if they’ve lost 66k in 3 months.
We are reaching a new way point in this conflict. Either there’s going to be massive uniform swapping, or the Poles and other fools will enter Western UKraine, and the death toll could be way, way higher.
Also, Russia could use a couple of tactical nukes in Western UKraine, something they should’ve done on the 7th day of their SMO.
The use of nukes could force Z back to the table and give Russia all it’s demands, but would Z even make it to the table?
