SHOCKED at Notting Hill Carnival – Dangerous Place!
Trip Adviser Review of London Notting Hill Carnival
When i looked at the TIMEOUT advertisement of Notting Hill Carnival it was stated that it is the best carnival in Europe!! Please be aware that this place is not for families or children! It was full of people smoking drugs, drinking at the very beginning (drunk at 10:30!!!) and people acting in unacceptable ways! I went with 1 friend and we were pushed and pulled around, we entered a few bottleneck roads where there were hundreds of thousands of people pushing you and they were all completely lost with drugs and alcohol! We got scared that we could get hurt. There was glass bottles broken all over the streets, people where pissing publicly on the middle of the street, and food was served by ‘strange’ people who just set up food huts in the middle of the road! There is no food inspection or regulation here, people where cooking food on the road and also some locals where opening their homes for business too. They put up signs on their flats ‘toilets’ £1′ and ‘come up stairs for some food’, clearly there could be so many dangers going into someone’s property without knowing who they are! This wasn’t regulated by Police well and anyone could have got hurt once entering someone’s property (with so many drunk people)! Around the whole Notting Hill area only 2 underground stations where working, the others where closed! So when we started having getting really anxious with the place and wanted to get out we realized that we couldn’t get on any underground around us because they were all closed! So we had to walk to the nearest underground which was 2 miles away! Please be aware this isn’t for any one who doesn’t want to drink all day and smoke hash! Its not a place to just wonder around and enjoy the day – this is a huge rave party similar to those in Ibiza but X100 more dangerous! There is not enough police or security to the amount of people (the proportion is 1:1000 = police to people)!!!! Good luck! And you will see a lot of fights! There we ambulances parked on sides of road prepared to take hurt people to hospital! It was like entering the Gladiators ring! AWFUL

the Notting Hill carnival is not what it purports to be

when he was registered at the Maudesley hospital as a predatory homosexual.
A wealthy London Christian lady on finding out that the labour party was funding
all the gay parades homosexual marches and extreme homosexual magazines
with naked under age boys pics in, teamed up with Mary Whitehouse
and they anounced they were going to put on a large parade for Christian families
with a meeting in the park where pop groups would play and it would be a
heterosexual christian event.
Boris Johnstons reply was sickening.

One of the remarkable things at this street festival is the similarity in the behaviour of participants and black tribal dancing in Africa.
Would like to know if the local residents living there for decades are happy with this. Anyway don’t even try to compare this monkey circus to the rave parties of the past. I was a regular visitor of Love Parade in the 90’s Berlin where nearly a million of people were enjoying themselves and not even once have i experienced some negativity, aggression or any kind of anti social behaviour (apart from some minority homo groups). It’s all about the culture. You can’t have drunk and coked up black street gangsters and expect some fun and good time lol. Yeah and that smell of the jerk chicken and calypso vibes are not worth it. It’s basically afro-carribean stabbing festival.
This what used to be a celebration of enriching Carnival of Carribean Culture integrated into the capital city of England and the UK. Since early to the middle of the last decade. Has turned into nothing more than a hedonists long weekend of drug and alcohol fueled mayhem and chaos.
With local people in the area boarding up there windows and houses to keep out the generally vile crowd. (And believe me….they ain’t much else!). As I’ve seen some of this fairly up close on a couple if occasions.
Time to do away with this so called annual tradition. As none of the young crowd appreciate any of the festive origins of it, or have any knowledge of the true history regarding the forming of the traditional festival.
Just another excuse to take a long weekend off for another deluge of madness and mayhem!
