It’s been an astonishing couple of days for German judges. Well, “astonishing” if you’ve been living in a cave for the last four years.
Many of you likely already know that satirist and playwright (and frequent OffG contributor) CJ Hopkins is being prosecuted in Germany for “disseminating propaganda, the contents of which are intended to further the aims of a former National Socialist organization,”
All because the cover of his book has a swastika on it.
Needless to say, the charges are absurd. Insultingly so. You can read CJ’s first-hand account of this nonsense here and here.
Anyone who isn’t a) stupid or b) delusional can plainly see these charges have nothing to do with a stock-image swastika, and everything to do with the content of the book. In short, they are politically motivated charges brought against an author for criticizing the state. The very essence of dystopian tyranny.
…and yesterday he was convicted.
He now faces 60 days in prison or a 3600 Euro fine.
That’s case one, and as we say one you are likely familiar with if you’re regular readers.
Something you probably haven’t heard is that, just this morning, a different German court sentenced a former judge to two years in prison.
His crime? Ruling that mask mandates in schools were not constitutional.
The case dates back to April 8th 2021, when Weimar District Family Court judge Christiaan Dettmar ruled that two schools in the district a) could not enforce mask mandates, b) must continue in-person classes and c) could not force pupils to test for “Covid”.

The court case was a child protection case under to § 1666 paragraph 1 and 4 of the German Civil Code (BGB), which a mother had initiated for her two sons, aged 14 and 8 respectively, at the local Family Court. She had argued that her children were being physically, psychologically and pedagogically damaged without any benefit for the children or third parties. At the same time, she claimed this constituted a violation of a range of rights of the children and their parents under the law, the German constitution (Grundgesetz or Basic Law) and international conventions.
After listening to testimony from expert witnesses, the judge ruled in favour of the mother, writing in his verdict:
These are the risks [to mask mandates]. The children are not only endangered in their mental, physical and psychological well-being by the obligation to wear face masks during school hours and to keep their distance from each other and from other persons, but they are also already being harmed. At the same time, this violates numerous rights of the children and their parents under the law, the constitution and international conventions.
Two weeks after handing down this ruling, his home and office were raided by the police and his mobile phone was seized.
And now, two years later, he was found guilty of “judicial misconduct” and initially given two years in prison (the court has since suspended the sentence). “Judicial Misconduct”, for simply disagreeing with the government.
Free speech is the first and most vital liberty, without it no one is truly free. An independent judiciary is a must to preserve any kind of justice, judges who simply nod along with government edicts are the building blocks of authoritarian states.
The voice of the people and the power of the courts – ideally – work together to hold the government to account.
And yet, whether in the judiciary or the arts, the German legal system is now a machine for criminalizing and punishing dissent of any kind.
…I’d make a comparison to another German government that used to function in a similar way, but I really can’t afford a 4000 euro fine.

Germany is one of my favourite countries. I like the beer, food, the people, and respect their engineering accomplishments. What makes their nation superior to Britain in many respects, such as cleaner streets and maybe a harder work ethic, also may make for the transmission of tyranny in a people who are stereotyped as law abiding to the point of being robots.
There may be a slovenliness about the British people that makes tyranny less easy to transmit. The Germans are an efficient people. I have often wondered whether this difference is a reflection of our different languages…

In Italy a military General got himself demoted, maybe even removed from the military for writing a book with the title ‘The World Upside Down’. I doubt there was a court case, and he isn’t going to prison.
Perhaps he’ll summon the Italian state to court…

Covid has taught us that there is absolutely no leading institution which will stand up and protect our basic rights and freedoms, and oppose any of the evils. None. No absolutely none:
Certainly not our governments or the mainstream media which are the primary instruments subservient to the money and coercive powers of the ruling corporatocracy;
Certainly not any of our elected representatives to our legislatures who constantly ignore all of the real evil in the land, and all of whom sat on their fat asses and endorsed every single insane Covid mandate, and who continue to suppress free speech and to support laws allowing our governments, the media, and the military to lie to us and even to inflict massive deceptions and psyops against us;
Certainly not the courts as this article clearly demonstrates;

Certainly not any of the major corporations which are a key component in the WEF corporatocracy network with the international banking cartel, or even with the any smaller corporation whose owners are afraid to go against the grain on any issue;
Certainly not any university, college, or school whose faculties and college of teachers must tow the government barge of stink and garbage on every issue they teach;
Certainly not any of the major denominational Churches whose leaders are either in bed with the corrupt power elites or totally intimidated with threats of being bankrupted unless they also totally comply with all government mandates and policies, including those promoting toxic vaccines, lockdowns, MAID, euthanasia, LGBTQ, transgenderism, fake perils, massive deceptions, open borders, and the UN Agendas.

Regardless of what we view or post on the internet they are entirely pleased that we are not assembling TOGETHER in private and public places proving to ourselves and to others that our opposition to them and their policies are not fragmented, isolated or weak.
We have to wake up, be brave, and stand together in public or that which we know to be good, decent and right, and which most people still believe to be true will, disappear and be swallowed up into the swirling vortext of virtual reality, where nothing is real anymore. The public protection of that which is good in the only real basis for our survival.

Italian army general to be disciplined over shock book

ROME – Italy’s Defence Minister Guido Crosetto ordered on Thursday disciplinary action against a top army general who has published a book in which he disparaged LGBT people, migrants, minorities and feminists.
Mr Crosetto denounced General Roberto Vannacci’s self-published book as “ramblings … that discredit the army, the Defence Ministry and the Constitution”.
“For this reason, the foreseen disciplinary action will be initiated by the Defence Ministry,” he added.
Gen Vannacci used to head Italy’s elite paratrooper unit, carried out missions in Iraq and Afghanistan, and was the Italian defence attache in Moscow from 2020 until last September, when he was expelled in the wake of the Ukraine war.
He was subsequently appointed to head Italy’s Military Geographic Institute.
Little known to the general public, he hit the headlines on Thursday when excerpts of his self-published book The World Upside Down appeared in the national press.
In his book, he says homosexual men are not normal and claims there is an “international gay lobby” trying to brainwash the world. He also appears to question whether black people can be Italian, referring to Paola Egonu, an Italian volleyball international born in Italy to Nigerian parents.
The Italian Army distanced itself from the book, saying it had not reviewed the text before it was published.
Centre-left opposition politicians called for Gen Vannacci’s sacking.
“It is serious and alarming that an army general in office publishes a political essay.. steeped in anti-democratic, racist, homophobic and misogynist language,” said lawmaker Alessandro Zan, a prominent LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer) activist.

ROME – An Italian general who published a book espousing racist and homophobic opinions has been fired following widespread criticism, including from the defence minister, media reports said Friday.
General Roberto Vannacci, 54, a veteran of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, was dismissed as head of Italy’s Military Geographical Institute, a post he took up in June, Italian news outlets reported.
Questioned by AFP, the defence ministry did not deny the information.
Military officials said “The World Backwards” had been self-published earlier in August on Amazon.com without the knowledge of the army.
Among various opinions expressed in the book, Vannacci says homosexuals are not “normal” and rails against the “dictatorship of minorities,” taking aim at feminists, environmentalists, people of colour, and immigrants.
On Thursday, Defence Minister Guido Crosetto said “the personal ramblings of a general” had discredited Italy’s armed forces, and said disciplinary proceedings would be opened.
Crosetto is one of the co-founders of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s right-wing Brothers of Italy party.
On television channel Rete4, Vannacci defended himself, saying he had not expected the firestorm for a book that expressed “my thoughts, without offending anyone”. – AFP
