No, I have never said that Jews “are” our salvation, but I have often said that Jesus is our salvation, like any Christian. Judaism rejected Jesus as their saviour and the only way it makes sense to say “salvation comes from the Jews” is to say that Jesus came from the Jews and that he was of Jewish origin. The first followers and converts were also Jews but because of that faith they also became outcasts from Judaism as did Jesus. Christ is not just a “higher power” who can lift one up and beyond the madness and the muck in life.
