You can read about the case here.
The judge has issued an injunction against the federal government, ordering it to stop colluding with, and pressuring, social media to censor speech as if it were an Orwellian “Ministry of Truth.”
The case is ongoing. There are many plaintiffs, including doctors and The Gateway Pundit.
The main areas of censorship: COVID, rigged elections, and the Hunter Biden laptop story.
The fact that the judge issued the injunction suggests his eventual ruling will favor the plaintiffs and slam the federal government.
But the New York Times tweeted: “Breaking News: A judge limited Biden administration officials from contacting social media sites, a ruling that could curtail efforts to fight disinformation.”
Meaning: Could curtail efforts to destroy the 1st Amendment.
It’s not that the Times misunderstands the Amendment. They just don’t like it.
They want to control it.
They want to BE a censor.
As any Ministry of Truth would.
The phrase “fight disinformation” is itself an effort to kill free speech. It’s straight-out propaganda, designed to convince rubes, yokels, and partisans that government is SUPPOSED TO CENSOR. Because “disinformation” is bad and stopping it is good.
Newsflash: That isn’t government’s job, unless it’s North Korea.
The government’s job is defending free speech.
At some point in this case, the feds may try to invoke National Security as the justification for banning speech about COVID.
That’s the final frontier for a tyranny. “If we don’t censor, the country will collapse.”
If the judge doesn’t fall for that bullshit, the feds will try it again when they appeal the case to a higher court.
This may wind up at the doorstep of the Supreme Court. Next year, or the year after.
If the Supremes stick a dagger in the heart of the federal government, I fully expect the feds to simply go deeper underground, in their collusion with social media.
At that point, who would act to support the Supreme Court’s ruling? The Dept. of Justice?
That terminally corrupt agency is a piece of the Executive Branch. The Branch where agencies are heading up censorship.
Nevertheless, a favorable Supreme Court ruling would help clear the air.
At the New York Times, the stench-ridden creatures called reporters would keep on supporting “the fight against disinformation.” They would hire new little petty fascists to carry on their crusade.

The best government is NO government. I don’t understand it. The definition of anarchy is no government. But 99.9% believe the definition to be chaos BECAUSE of no government. UNTRUE!
Look around,,, We have government coming out of the woodwork. Do you see peace and stability? Nope,,, all you see is a bunch of grifter parasites in government making everyone’s life as miserable as possible while sucking the life and wealth out of everyone else.
@ ken. The definition of anarchy is “leaderless” but that would be a major problem and result in people calling for leaders. Because a society without leaders will always tempt a takeover by any group that’s powerful enough to take it over, be they communists, Nazis, religious cults, New Age kooks, the mafia, drugs gangs, racial gangs. Just about any group with sufficient numbers to make a move for power.
That’s why modern society which is much bigger than the old “family, clan, tribe” needs to be properly organised with leadership/governance of some kind, or we’ll fall to the nasties waiting to take over and who are prepared to get violent to do it. That’s probably why we have royalty–because their ancestors were organised enough to seize control of society and rule over our ancestors, often brutally.

The government “parasites” are put there by the banker parasites.
Get rid of the government and the bankers will just rule us directly. In fact, the proliferation of private armies, excuse me — “contractors” is proof they almost already are.
Sometimes with government we get moderately lucky. You really want to throw all power to the Rothschilds?
