World Economic Forum (WEF) members are celebrating the emergence of “digital cash” as governments around the globe prepare for “cashless societies.”
During the WEF’s “Summer Davos” event in China last month, attendees were buzzing about the advancement of Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs).
Over 1,500 government, corporate, and academic leaders, including a large delegation from Saudi Arabia, gathered for the WEF summit in Tianjin, China on June 27–29.
The main topic of discussion during the three-day conference, also called the Annual Meeting of the New Champions, was how the WEF’s agenda can be amplified in “cashless societies” through the use of CBDCs.
Chinese Premier Li Qiang kicked off the summit with an address in which he called for more globalization.
The second-ranking member of the Chinese Communist Party also warned there will be more public health crises, which he suggested will bring new opportunities to advance the globalist agenda.
“COVID-19 will not be the last public health crisis humanity faces,” said Qiang.
“Global public health governance needs to be enhanced.”
Other notable moments included a panel discussion titled “China’s Economy: The Big Rebound?” during which Cornell Professor Eswar Prasad advocated for governments using CBDC to control citizens’ purchases.
As Slay News reported, Prasad gloated that a “digital dollar” could be used to strip Americans of their Second Amendment rights by blocking them from buying “ammunition” and other “less desirable items.”
A CBDC is a digital currency issued and governed by a central bank.
In the case of the United States, a CBDC would be a digital currency issued and controlled directly by the Federal Reserve.
A CBDC would replace cash for all transactions and be controlled by the central bank.
It would be backed by the central bank and its value is manipulated by the Fed’s monetary policies.
However, whereas cash transactions are anonymous, CBDC transactions are not.
The monitoring of CBDC transactions has already been confirmed by Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell.
But anonymity would not be the only casualty of CBDC as one of the key features would be the ability to monitor what individuals purchase to control and limit what they spend.
During a panel discussion at Summer Davos, Prasad boasted to WEF members that digital currencies offer governments the “benefit” of controlling what taxpayers purchase.
“If you think about the benefits of digital money, there are huge potential gains,” he said.
“It’s not just about digital forms of physical currency.
“You can have programmability [like] units of central bank currency with expiry dates,” he explained.
“You could have . . . a potentially better — or some people might see it, a darker — world, where the government decides that units of central bank money can be used to purchase some things but not other things that it deems less desirable, like say, ammunition or drugs or pornography or something of the sort.
“And that is very powerful in terms of the use of a CBDC.”

Summer Davos featured another speaking event titled “How to Stay Within Planetary Boundaries – Carrot or Stick?”
This discussion focused on whether to incentivize or threaten people to comply with “climate goals.”
The event was hosted by Nature Energy Editor Nicky Dean.
Dean warned that people may need to be punished if they do not comply with climate mandates to meet the goals of the WEF’s green agenda.
“We are—broadly speaking—agreed that we need to get on track towards a net-zero, climate-safe, and nature-positive future, but we know this will not be easy,” said Dean.
“And we’re going to need to change behaviors of both individuals but also the way that our industries and corporations and also our governments work and practice.
“We’re going to need to do this through a mixture of carrots and hopefully perhaps not so many sticks in some kind of mix, and there’s a very active and live debate as to how we go about this.
“But we’re likely to see an increasing move towards more stick-like interventions into the future as things worsen if we’re not able to act.”
Institute of Public and Environmental Affairs Director Ma Jun agreed with Dean.
“We need sticks,” Jun declared.
Sunway University Sunway Centre for Planetary Health Executive Director Jemilah Mahmood said sticks are needed to control the public in the “short term.”
However, he noted that carrots are required in the “long term.”
Mahmood added that “there are worse things coming” than COVID-19.

As regular Slay News readers will be aware, the emergence of digital cash poses a grave threat to public freedoms.
The WEF has been pushing the controversial technology for some time, however, and frequently praises digital cash as a tool for ushering in its radical agenda.
In particular, the WEF is most excited about the opportunities that CBDCs offer to advance the organization’s climate agenda.
One plan promoted by the WEF is to track individuals’ purchases to monitor their “carbon footprint.”
Those whose spending contributes to “climate change,” for example, would be punished, either with fines or other limits that would lock them out of regular society.
As Agustin Carstens, the General Manager of the Bank of International Settlements (BIS), told his fellow WEF members last year, CBDCs will give the unelected global power elite “absolute control” over the world’s population.
I see the desire to control populations but I think international trade can’t be done digitally–say, selling 1,000 tons of pure aluminium for a stream of digits? No thanks. And in the same way ordinary people in the west lost the incentive to work because the pay became so low, those who had wealth will lose the incentive to work if they’re not going to be rich any more doing it. Make those who control it earn it all.
Digital will fail, surely. It’s a concept that will fail in practise. Try running the world economy and all national economies on IOU’s. It’s the same thing but worse–it will steal the most from the richest and they’ll not just take that. And those who would police and administer it will ask why should I?
A moderately sized banking company has just recently announced its move to digital based banking platform. It has announced a short shutdown to “get things rearranged”. I wonder if over 1% of the people using that bank are aware of what has been done to their freedoms.
We see these unusual weather events, and we’re supposed to believe through indoctrination that sheeple are responsible.
I am 62, and as a child, super interested in the space race and astronomy. In those days, the Sun was yellow, you could just about get close to looking at it through a squinted eye. Today, the Sun is white.
Our Sun is much more active today. Forget irradiance, because the puts out so much stuff that I can’t cover them here.
On the flip side, the Earth’s magnetic field is collapsing. Minus 25%, & this decline will accelerate. There’s no good news.
They can do all they like, but they are heading down the rabbit hole, and they aren’t rabbits, they’re Nazi sheeple.
The real purpose of programmable digital money, is control. Not climate control, but complete control, because they know what’s coming. Potential CMEs, and a micronova, maybe 12 years away, maybe 25 years away. Let’s assume we get lucky, and no CMEs hit Earth. Things are still going to be horrifying. The heat is going to climb, and be so hot that man made climate change will look like a joke. Massive crop failures and starvation.
This storm is coming, and all we’ve seen is the wind pick up slightly. All great powers have the same problems. They’ve got to keep the sheeple under control for as long as possible.
Qiang didn’t call for more globalisation he called for more co-operation, communication, exchange, solidarity to further connectivity.
He sounded like a true globalist thinking politician when he said “Global public health governance needs to be enhanced”. He was admitting the globalists were incompetent in the covid narratives and could do better next time. He is deluded in this regard. Incompetence is the globalists manifest. If you have to lie and silence truth at the same time then it means you are incompetent in achieving your goals. You might achieve your goals this way but how long can you keep them. Nothing will change in that regard going into the future. Then he goes on to say that he went to Germany and they aren’t in lockstep with the zero sum game they want win win. We know that’s bullshit we know who rules Europe and that’s the globalists (transnationals) themselves. Zero sum is how they make their living. They aren’t about to let China mess with how they make their living especially in Europe. China’s century of humiliation isn’t over yet by the looks of it.
CBDC’s are coming without doubt. With what we know of globalist incompetence the question is how long is their shelf life going to be.

Digital currency, like all money, will only benefit the rich. The poor have none whatever type it is. Digital will mean they can tax every penny you spend, can force you to buy or not buy whatever they want you to, and they can take it away to kill you by proxy, as everyone else will kill you if you have none. The rich will never fight back against the jews because they are wannabe jews themselves. Show me a homeless person who wants digital currency. Show me a gig economy worker who wants digital currency. It’s no surprise that all the accountants, bankers, lawyers, house owners, and all the other slime want it, because they can take the food money of the poor right out of their account at the press of a button. Digital currency is also essential for the war. You can’t control multicultural hell holes in wartime without it.
All this fear mongering over digital currency. We’ve had it for decades, it is called a debit/credit card. Your bank account is already digital, every purchase is recorded digitally.
Amerika has a huge black market for everything, so if there is some sort of social credit ban, there will be a black market for whatever is banned – and it has been like that forever.
Marijuana was banned but always available, everywhere, all of the time. Many states took the drug trade very seriously, yet illegal drugs thrived all of the time. The higher the repression the higher the price.
California growers are selling bulk marijuana for $500 to 600 a pound, drivers take to Washington DC and resell it for $6,000. Cocaine is seriously repressed yet in the White House.
If you say certain people can’t buy ammo, then the guy who can buy the ammo will buy it to sell to you for mucho profit.
That is how the world really works.
What I do on a daily basis is leave a digital trail for innocuous items. I never buy guns, gold, ammo on a credit card, cash only.
That way my digital profile is a squeaky clean good citizen.
I do it because I know how they think and I know how to defeat these fucking bastards.
