Just Stop Oil has achieved a main objective, to bring an end to any protest the police deem “obstructive”. They have other things to do like denying us personal transport and moving us into 15-minute ghettoes. But for now all protest worth being called a protest are over, meaning some of the things that unelectable plank Keir Starmer brings in will be met basically with silence.

It’s ironic those running the UK and the west will still whip up protest and unrest abroad. It can look bad for government and businesses so protest works which is why they’ll foment it overseas but ban it here.
