Buried behind the news of the supposed “attempted coup” in Russia this weekend, was the Swedish government’s announcement, last Wednesday, that they will be stepping back from their plans to go 100% renewable energy.
According to finance minister Elisabeth Svantesson, wind and solar power are simply not efficient or reliable enough to be trusted to produce the entire country’s energy supply.
This has been celebrated in some circles as an example of a government taking a logical approach.
But, to be clear, this is not about refuting or rejecting the “climate change” agenda, but purely a question of methodology. Sweden is rejecting “renewable energy” goals, not net zero. Net zero is still very much on the cards…via nuclear power, what some still laughably call “clean energy”.

Sweden’s parliament on Tuesday (20 June) adopted a new energy target, giving the right-wing government the green light to push forward with plans to build new nuclear plants in a country that voted 40 years ago to phase out atomic power. Changing the target to “100% fossil-free” electricity, from “100% renewable” is key to the government’s plan to […] reach net zero emissions by 2045.”
Sweden has always been at the fore-front of climate messaging, introducing one of the first ever “Carbon Taxes” as early as 1991.
It’s also the case the Sweden recently approved a feasibility study for a massive carbon capture and storage (CCS) plant near Stockholm. CCS is among the bigger scams of the climate change narrative.
And yet this scrapping of renewable goals has been welcomed by some in the alternative sphere as Sweden “seeing sense”.
This is highly reminiscent of Sweden’s role in the Covid narrative – the “voice of reason”. The sensible rejection of the official narrative in favour of a very slightly different version of the official narrative.
Sweden pushed for no lockdowns and “early treatment” and herd immunity, but all of that actually served to underline that there was an actual pandemic that needed dealing with. Reinforcing the official story through carefully orchestrated dissent.
It looks like Sweden is about to cast itself in the same part for the Climate play.
Moving forward, the debate will be about “net zero via renewables” vs “net zero via nuclear”, without ever questioning whether we need to go “net zero” at all, or if it’s even physically possible to do so.

You see, for every unit of tax cost, they lose more than an economic unit, or tax. income.
This is a destructive spiral which they can’t stop. It’s been long understood that once a tax is introduced, it is never removed, and that tax generally increases. You see, the Nazi states get addicted to their tax fix.
Slightly off topic, but the UK Nazi regime is now going to tax alcohol content in drinks. There’s a huge difference in 12% wines, over 11% wine, which is dishwater. I don’t understand why 1% makes such a difference, but it does. There’s a definite loss of flavour. So we already see wine & beer producers cutting alcohol content.
So I won’t be buying UK sourced alcohol. In fact, I’ve stopped drinking alcohol until I travel to lands where beer and wine are natural products.
If the sheeple weren’t so thick, they would also stop buying alcoholic drinks, and hurt the Nazi regime where it hurts, but no chance of that.
This is a form of prohibition, and we know it doesn’t work.
You can go to Dinitas and kill yourself, but you can’t drink wine or beer? There’s a fecking reason why top notch wine is 12 to 13.5%, there’s a reason why decent beer is 4.5 to 6%, because this is the optimum range for flavour. Sure, there are many products outside these ranges, but they aren’t as good. There’s no way I’ll every drink an 11% Bordeaux red, it just isn’t going to happen.

Windmills and unicorns is being promoted to save the planet from CO2. But CO2 does not warm the planet – that is junk science. At no time in the last 4.5 billion years has earth been warmed by CO2. Ice ages have come and gone (lasting tens of millions of years) with CO2 over 5,000 ppm, 10 times higher than today.
The last glacial maximum ended 18,000 years ago – the earth warmed for 10,000 years, the peak of interglacial warming was 8,000 years ago. Man did not cause that. There is no evidence that man is causing temperature to change at any point in the Holocene, see chart.

The idea to massacre the walrus was not even original, that idea was lifted from the Walt Disney movie “White Wilderness” showing lemmings jumping off the cliff. The backstory: the film crew paid the local indian native boys to catch them, 50 cents each per lemming, and they built a box then pushed the lemmings off the cliff. So effective was that scene, the lemming meme became a cultural idea – and was copied to kill walrus for climate change propaganda.

CO2 does not force temperature, never has and never will. Not once in earth’s 4.6 billion year history has high CO2 stopped ice ages, previous ice ages have occurred with CO2 over 5,000 ppm.

So since science does not support the CO2 warming claim, the government has engaged in a massive propaganda effort to convince the public that immediate action is needed to save the planet from runaway warming. Such efforts include recruiting flunky Al Gore, teenager Greta Thunberg, and Titanic star Leonard Dicaprio to emotionally push the agenda, also note none of that trio have any science training.
During this entire fiasco of bribery, liars, and the destruction of the classic American car industry, temperatures have not obeyed government edicts, CO2 went up, and temperatures went sideways. Notice how Wikipedia uses the religious meme “denialist” to describe conspiracy factualists uncovering government crimes. If global warming was factual, then none of those extraordinary efforts would be necessary to push the political agenda. AGW has always been politics, CO2 was demonized as a way to take away our independence from ICE cars. And since you emit CO2, it became the new original sin, a way to demonize the human for being born and exhaling CO2.
The bottom line is that CO2 levels do not affect temperature, and ice age progression will continue regardless of how wrong our culture gets from corrupted science and a satanically evil political class hellbent on destroying our culture. They want to reduce your carbon footprint to zero, which can only happen if you are dead.

I am sorry that if you believe in the government lies about global warming. There is no polite way to tell you are wrong. CO2 has never warmed the atmosphere. The ice age cold period is coming regardless of what you think or were told to believe and buying a Tesla does nothing but make Elon rich.
I confess that I’d never heard of Carbon Capture and Storage before. The link highlighted in yellow, “the bigger scams” opens to an article in The American Conservative, by Michael Fumento, titled, “The Great Carbon Capture Scam.” It’s an excellent piece. The author explains precisely what Carbon Capture means in practise; the engineering and chemical processing required for both siphoning off and storing excess CO2 emissions.
There are basically three approaches to CO2 capture;
• Post-combustion filtering of CO2 from exhaust gasses.
• Pre-combustion separation of hydrogen and CO2, using chemical catalysts, to facilitate the extraction of CO2. I think that this method is intended for carbon capture at drained petroleum wells and abandoned coal mines.
• Oxy-fuel combustion where CO2 is ignited in pure oxygen, not air, to produce a gas that is composed only of CO2 and H2O.
The CO2 is then pumped into subterranean geological fissures for storage. Hmm.
It’s all a racket, as Fumento makes plain. It’s Deep State gangsterism of exorbitant proportions, both lucrative financially, via government grants and also by way of the accumulation of carbon credits, in order to evade corporate tax liabilities. With regard to Kit Knightly’s report, I noticed a trend in televised “lockdown debates,” broadcast by the likes of GB News and TalkTV, beginning a little while back now, where, whenever Sweden is mentioned as proof that nationwide house arrest was an unnecessary measure, the chastening riposte, is always that Sweden lost just as many people to Covid-19 as Britain did, before herd immunity became effective. As risible as this counter-argument is, it is accepted as a fair observation by whomever is speaking against Covid-19 polity. So, somehow, the experience of anti-lockdown Sweden becomes a metric of ums and ahs that doesn’t, in fact, definitively impinge on the question of the medical and civil propriety of pandemic lockdowns.
There is just as much disingenuousness in Sweden’s attribution of fatalities to Covid-19, as there is in Britain or elsewhere in Europe. The miraculous vaniquishing of seasonal flu during the Covid crisis, occured in Sweden too.
For all we know, avalanche victims and people who boiled to death, accidentally, while bathing in hot springs and even folk who died of yodelling, were all officially registered upon demise, as Covid-19 victims.
