The trick in 1945 was to make sure the USA never went back to its ordinary and custom of isolationism. They made up the lie of the Communist Menace and started the Cold War to keep the US in Europe, Japan… even though most Americans did not want any of it.
Even when the chatter of the “Common Market” started in the long ago days of the 1950s, it was right wing Americans who called out the warning that they were going to do to Europa what they already did to us. Remember, from the 1880s when corporations were granted “human rights” in the US, American citizens have had no say in the political life of the US.
You saw this at both the League of Nations and the UN. Wilson strong-armed all the political luminaries to join the League, but it was only the efforts of a few remaining patrician patriots that we stayed out.
But after 1945, with the newly arrived security state, the US was unable to block the elite plan for the UN. And after the UN quite logically came what amounts to The United States of Europe, where you now have the same zero voice in public affairs as Americans had since the 1880s.
Hope you have a few patrician politicians to bail you out. It only worked for us in 1920 — but once beats nothing. Good luck.

We are witnessing this in all Western nations. Acceptance of vile behavior leads to this condition. Russia, on the other hand, is against all the filth that these perverts are forcing upon our children, thus Yahweh has removed His blessings and is sending us leaders that are totally incompetent. The depleted ammunition supplies which the Russians destroyed in Khemlnitsky has produced a radiation spike in West Ukraine instead of the east of the country absorbed by Russia where it was meant to be used. Russia should tell the west the next spike won’t happen where these vile weapons were sent to but where they are sent from. Poisoning their own environments may be worth the storm that follows.
