I wholeheartedly agree with your sentiment but the people who are behind this are the de facto rulers of the world. They are “above the law”. To what extent they will evade divine retribution by way of karma/judgement etc., is another thing altogether.
TPTB will manage the fallout to their earthly advantage as I have argued before. To wit, they will say everything was about poor regulation and the greed of lower ranking hierarchy players who they will allow to be hung out to dry. So much for honour among thieves or especially, honour among psychopaths…
They will believe the people are largely too stupid to not see this: true; and they will have also accomplished their goal of population reduction by reasonable stealth.
