Peace will also come to Syria. The foreign minister of Saudi Arabia will soon visit Damascus. He will invite Syria to rejoin the Arab League. An Arab League summit will be held next month in Saudi Arabia and the Syrian president Bashar al Assad is expected to be there.
This comes after agreements between Iran and Saudi Arabia to bury the hatchet and after agreements between Iraq and Iran to reign in a Kurdish uprising in Iran that was controlled by Kurdish forces in Iraq.
‘We can’t have that’, says U.S. president Joe Biden. He sent CIA director Bill Burns to Saudi Arabia to threaten consequences:
CIA Director Bill Burns made an unannounced trip to Saudi Arabia this week where he reportedly aired Washington’s frustrations over Riyadh’s opening to Iran and Syria through mediation brokered by US rivals China and Russia.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, a US official confirmed the trip to Al-Monitor. “Director Burns traveled to Saudi Arabia where he met with intelligence counterparts and country leaders on issues of shared interest,” the US official said.
The official did not disclose the exact day of the trip but said that Burns discussed intelligence cooperation, especially in the area of counterterrorism. The CIA director met the country’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, The Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday.
Burns likely threatened to withhold U.S. intelligence on terrorist groups from the Saudis. The CIA could additionally push some of its ISIS assets to make some nasty appearances in Saudi Arabia to then offer ‘help’ to ‘fight terrorism’.
I do not think that this will work. The Saudis have had enough of U.S. interference in their region. They are looking for development and development requires peace.
Thus the U.S. is upping its threat:

A solution can always be found in a political problem but not in a religious one. Both the jews and the Palestinians have divorced the political aspects of this ongoing problem and have only left the religious dimensions of it. Both sides have suppressed and or liquidated their saner political voices and have left only the ugly religious chauvinists with their insane solutions as the only viable way out, solutions that leave no room for compromise.
This is a classic ‘my god has a bigger dick than yours’ which always goads to confrontation. But at least in Israel you can do a Vanunu and survive while the same is not true for the other side.
Being an Arab I am expected to paint all Jews with the same brush but I don’t given that I am aware the Jewish people are as diverse as the Arab and Muslim people too and it would be a serious mistake to adopt this stance which is the stance taken by those that attach religious aspects to a political problem. There were many Jews in Palestine way even before the Brits went in to stir the pot and they had their properties too. The best solution to this problem would be to lock up the religious Jewish side and the religious Palestinian/Arab side in a guarded room and leave them to face each other without being freed until they come up with a peaceful solution. If they end up tearing each other apart we could say good riddance to them and at least others with workable political solutions can take over. Regardless of religion religious minds are poisoned as they have forsaken love.
For about fifteen years, we have had the term “a threat of a good example”, and the best type of case of that is a White town with no crime and a lot of goodwill and prosperity, so the Scum have to pepper it with criminal-minded anthropoids from Asia and Africa, (or Latin America in the case of the USA)
There’s one word that Israelis & Zios hate, that word is PEACE. If the ME was peaceful, there’d be no need for the US to keep two aircraft carrier groups nearby Israel, one in the Med, the other in the Red Sea.
