It’s a good way to start pulling Zelensky aside from the US as well as blanking the US to drive home its increasing irrelevance.

Regardless of anyone’s opinion facts are facts. Russia will retake their territory segregated by the collapse of the Soviet Union on 26 December 1991.
Russians want to be Russians, they want to maintain their heritage customs and beliefs.
Ukraine has become a corrupt country both politically and commercially. Money buyes
false loyalty and transparent receivers who sway with the financial winds of graft.
The Ukraine has already lost the war just look at the distruction and the thieves who are anxiously conniving the control of their resources etc.

The US has announced its latest test of a hypersonic missile has failed. The US air force, army and navy are all developing their own missile systems with different arms companies, meaning more Americans must go poor, cold and hungry to pay for it all. At what point does a country become not worth defending?
This is a very unusual discussion context for Colonel Macgregor. The woman he is talking with is the embodiment of my concept of the Anglo-Saxon-style of parochial person who has no capacity to think in any framework other than her own national-context one.
The Colonel tries several times to broaden her vista, for instance, when he brings in Lavrov to illustrate the style of the diplomat shaped by the Greats of a national tradition of discursive diplomacy. He compares this with the John Kennedy style of declarative diplomacy, of which the framework is how America will shape in its own image the worlds of the people who are not Americans.
His comparison washes unheard over the woman’s head. She is geared up to put her next question to him about another American event and political figure. This makes me take seriously the possibility that there is such a phenomenon as the national-autism syndrome.
