Sir Tony Blair and Lord Hague have joined forces to urge the government to roll out “digital ID” as part of a “fundamental reshaping of the state around technology”.

Their plan would involve a new ID incorporating details such as a passport, driving licence, tax records, qualifications and right-to-work status which could be stored on a mobile phone.
The former political rivals said the challenge of adapting to the new technological revolution meant putting party differences to one side.
Sir Tony was the Labour prime minister when Lord Hague led the Conservative party as the Opposition and the pair had many clashes at the despatch box.
“We both believe the challenge is so urgent, the danger of falling behind so great and the opportunities so exciting that a new sense of national purpose across political dividing lines is needed,” the pair said in a joint article for The Times.
They warned that politicians were in danger of conducting a “20th-century fight at the margins of tax and spending policy” rather than grappling with the fundamental shifts required in the new era.
“We are living through a 21st-century technology revolution as huge in its implications as the 19th-century Industrial Revolution,” they said.
The pair suggested a shake-up of Whitehall “including digital ID for every citizen, a national health infrastructure that uses data to improve care and keep costs down, and sovereign AI systems backed by supercomputing capabilities”.
The Times reported that the pair’s plan, published in a report with more than 40 recommendations, included:
- Appointing “executive ministers” from outside Parliament to rewire Whitehall’s approach to science and technology
- Limiting the Treasury’s power to manage science and technology investment
- Using AI to help teachers in schools and provide personalised support to pupils at home
- Offering tax breaks to stimulate pension fund investment in UK start-ups

On BBC Radio 4’s Today programme, Sir Tony – who pushed to introduce ID cards as prime minister – said technology would overcome many people’s concerns about online dangers.
“If you look at the biometric technology that allows you to do digital ID today, it can overcome many of these problems,” he said.
“The world is moving in that direction, countries as small as Estonia and as large as India are moving in that direction or have moved in that direction.”
He added: “Here’s our problem: We’re spending a lot, we’re heavily taxed, and the outcomes are poor.
“So the question is what changes that situation? So if you take, for example, the ambition we have on climate, there is no way we can meet that ambition without changing planning. There’s literally no way we can do it.
“And a lot of these things, they’re not airy-fairy, they’re actually about people’s lives. People already live their lives digitally. The question is whether government and politics can catch up with that reality.”
While this comment isn’t directly linked to the article, I would like to say that they are manually spreading Covid again, or something like Covid, a bioweapon. They are infecting by aerosol spraying or similar.
I say this as a warning due to other likely events. Currency reset, banking collapse, extended bank holiday, food shortages, threats of food and fuel rationing, and strikes as a prelude to social unrest, so yeh, we could be in a Summer lockdown. They may even say the UK is now a war economy, hense the pain and control they want to inflict on the thicko sheeple.

My background involved scientific programming since before the days of the modern PC so I can be forgiven for saying what follows, where my basic premise being that AI systems are prone to failure and must not be used as the basic pillars of central planning. A single solar mass ejection flare can disable the entire foolish scheme.
I firmly believe that these AI systems are nothing but a disembodied human brain wiped clean and reprogrammed to serve the same functions as those brains in The Ship who sang. And to conceal the humanness origin of this system a casual crazy assertion was dropped to fool us that the system had now developed a ‘consciousness’
Human/machine brain interaction is a mature science for many decades and that it is an ongoing venture as can be verified by this piece of news from only 3 days ago concerning the usual suspects pretending they do these things only for altruistic motives:

Now think about the fact that no mention so far about any code or special programming of an AI system other than some static mundane ones like for industrial control but not about the specialized coding that would later magically turn itself into a conscious being. Actually the consciousness of it all is what gives me grounds to claim that these monsters are using human brains as the basis of their illicit AI computing and an investigation is warranted.

First it was kicking 70% of people off incapacity benefit, this is people who have been medically assessed as being to sick to work, then they bring in a new law that you have to prove you are looking for work or you get no benefit money, but they know very well there are no jobs because these same people, people trafficked in millions of immigrants and put them into these jobs.
They tell the unemployed that they have to prove they are looking for work, and unless they take a course they will lose their entitlements for financial help, so they take a course then the authorities say , ah you are now not available for work because you are on a course and stop their money.
The Polish government said recently that the figures for last year were £6 billion sent back home from Britain, this year they said it would be a slightly lower figure, but if this money was spent paying British workers the money would have remained in the British economy, not lost forever as it is when sent abroad.
They are also forcing people into jobs that pay almost no money approximate figures are 5 million people are working for less than the Government states are poverty rates, some pay way under the guidelines, and a visit to any park in the early hours of the morning will show a plethora of rough sleepers, these will range from those just out of the army, to those like unskilled manual workers who fall between the gaps to get help for unemployment.
I sometimes speak to these people, mostly young men but one woman of 70 sleeping rough and they all eat from the leftovers thrown away outside take-away food shops, and every one is a UK citizen, the incomers get special help, after living rough many suffer malnutrition and some become physically mentally ill, the recent cold snap took many lives of those who sleep in shop doorways.
The elderly, those people who paid rates and tax all their working lives are often cheated from their pensions,
this is called by government “clawback funds” and amounts to £5 billion a year, stolen from them to be used elsewhere.
They are also now killing off the elderly, old people who end up in hospital with mnor problems are not leaving alive, this saves the government pension money, and they will often then steal the old persons home,John Prescott has inferred this stolen money goes to pay for more incomers and for wars the public dont want, in short this racist government is not fit for purpose

They want to live relatively free of corporate and government controls in a myriad of transactions. If they want to use cash they are free to do so. If they want to keep their savings in a sock and out of reach of spendthrift and insane governments with social credit systems like China they are free to do so. If they want to save their gold and buy a boat or to drive a locomotive they are free to do so.
What these crooks overlook is that the most important aspect of any development is freedom. The measure of any society is the maximization of freedom by virtue of the responsible exercise of free will by its citizens, where everyone has access to all relevant information to make their own decisions, whether for the common good for their own set of interests. In a true rule-of-law nation neither the crooks nor the elitists have any special advantage. They are all equal under the laws made by virtue of full disclosure to the people of every issue affecting the people, not after decisions are made by them or on their behalf, but before, and in such a way that the people are fully aware of all of the implications of any top-down decisions being made on their behalf. People who abuse their powers and who trample on the basic rights of others, are arrested, tried and punished sufficiently to deter others tempted to do the same. Controlling everything and everyone from the top down simply makes everyone an automaton – exactly what the Rothschild’s, the Rockefellers, and all of their communist stooges are all about.
