A clandestine Home Office experiment in 1982 tested Britain’s capacity to rebuild after a catastrophic nuclear assault. Previously secret files, made public by the National Archives, document proposals to keep order using psychopathic recruits.
The exercise, dubbed ‘Regenerate’, was devised to prepare Britain to cope with a massive nuclear attack. The project aimed to create back-up measures in the event of a World War Three scenario.
Establishment officials imagined a situation where a nuclear exchange had devastated Britain’s major cities, causing millions of casualties and widespread radiation poisoning.
The Cold War experiment’s strategic means of dealing with such a disaster entailed assembling and recruiting a large group of officials, who would report to 12 carefully selected commissioners. Under the project, swathes of police officers, state officials, military officers and fire services were to be stationed beneath them.
All were to be dispatched to underground bunkers, across the state, ready to emerge in the aftermath of the assault to restore law and order and rebuild the nation.
Regenerate was devised to focus specifically on Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire, the National Archive files reveal.
The project’s architects predicted the most likely targets and forecast the immediate and residual damage of such attacks.
At the points of impact there would be “unimaginable” destruction, while further out, broken panes of glass and “debris in the streets” could be expected, the documents suggest.
Scientific advisers, engaged in the project, estimated that 50 percent of Britain’s landmass would remain intact following such strikes. Lingering survivors, however, could be plagued by illness from radiation poisoning, the files predicted.
Central to the planning phase of the Cold War exercise was the consideration of how law and order would be preserved in the aftermath of such an onslaught.
Jane Hogg, a Home Office official cited in the National Archive documents, predicted police officers would be occupied in assisting “inadequate” individuals. Others, therefore, would have to be recruited to preserve law and order, she suggested.
Hogg further claimed that psychopaths would be “very good in crises” as “they have no feelings for others, nor moral code, and tend to be very intelligent and logical.”
Her superiors, however, were unconvinced by the proposal.
“I am not at all sure you convince me. I would regard them as dangerous whether or not recruited into post-attack organization,” one senior wrote.
British historian and author of The Secret State, Lord Hennessy, was bewildered by the defense project and the suggestion that psychopaths could maintain order amid the chaos.
He described Hogg’s suggestion as “extraordinary” and “bizarre.” Hennessy acknowledged, however, the idea was ruled out “pretty quickly.”
Well, I only read the start, because as I’ve already said to another article today, there won’t be anything left of the UK. They derailed a train carrying perhaps the worst chemical cargo possible and then detonated every single car carrying that substance, right in the middle of the most prime farm land in the country. That’s clear and obvious an act of war waged on the United States by the government. Clearly, the worst enemy of the United States is its own government, stolen elections have consequences, and this is proof. This “weather system” is in fact the worst toxic waste known to man, put into the sky by the government of the United States.

I think these fools have lost sight of the low number of police, military and plain clothes security forces we have available. MPs can call on any necessary number of security to surround themselves in a security situation, then think calling up numbers as required is the same across the whole country. If the SHTF and the country collapses, not only would there be insufficient numbers of security forces to secure London alone, many of those forces they can count on now they couldn’t all count on in future. They may see the situation as so dire they’ll say screw the service if their own family needs their protection.
Not many would be there for a politician but not his own wife and kids.

Well, I wasn’t there but after reading the memoirs, biographies and diary of some of those who were there, it’s obvious they say one thing to the press and another to their helpers. There is the text and the subtext. Then there is the published theory of inducing critical mass which itself is entirely fake. The neutron can’t be bombarded and it can’t bombard. Stories about men dying prematurely of cancer after being exposed to atomic blasts are very common. Refining uranium will expose workers to cancer causing dust and gas. Show us the atomic blast, the atomic blast, I want the atomic blast! I’ve never seen an atomic Kaaa Blamo! Just stories and fake photos and fake film. The war in the Ukraine is either a pretext to advance globalism or to kill globalism. In any case globalism mainly is a pretext for free trade to serve the interests of the multi-national corporations, and it could be the case that bumbling Biden was inserted to do the dirty work to fuel a war to stop the globalist centralization march. Whether or not Zeihan is right about the Biden administration backing off globalism in practice, as opposed to all of that administration’s politically-correct policies with such things as immigration, the viability of the US economy and demographics are the most important issues to the US powers. Unless the US shuts off its markets to China there will be no younger generations to overcome the birth dearth in that nation because of all of the outsourcing which as occurred. So, despite any plans for the silk road from China to Israel, and Israel becoming a world trade hub between Asia, Africa and Europe, globalism is not really in the cards for the US.
The question you should be asking is why such a document was ever written (assuming it was).
I remember, about 40 years ago, seeing a “public service” thing on tv, where they told you to hide under your sofa when the nukes start falling. Even then, it was dumb. If the people believe this stuff today then it’s yet more evidence of continuing dementia among the masses.
It doesn’t make any difference how they do it. Call them nukes, or hypersonic whatevers, they’ll reduce you to a lump of body parts either way. And if that doesn’t get you the bio weapons will.
