As if we don’t know the Joseph story, which is really a blueprint for the Mafia on how to destroy a non-Jewish country

The true story of Joseph is also mentioned in the Quran, as is the reference to this life essentially being a test.
In a culture that has rejected the Divine laws of the Creator, the ego is left to identify only with what it can relate to on that level and sadly that same inflated ego will find itself regretting taking such a path when it no longer has the opportunity to reflect or change.

This is a very pleasing explication of the Joseph parable. Joseph was the youngest and most loved son of Jacob, who distinguished him, and thereby inspired the hatred of two of his eleven brothers, who sell him to a slave master from a far-away land.
Still, one thing bothers me: Joseph gets lucky, for the slave master treats him like a son. So where is Joseph’s test? Had the slave master treated him badly, and had Joseph, even so, refused to yield to the slave master’s wife’s seduction, he would indeed have been tested.
But the issue I pick on is not Nigel Watson’s explication. Rather, it is intrinsic in the Joseph parable. So nuts to that parable.

So, who are we supposed to forgive and for what? I can accept what St. Paul says that we ought to be mutually forgiving just as God has forgiven us in Christ, and looking back at wrongs suffered from others we learn that grudges, hate, and being vindictive is an obstacle to our egos to spiritual growth and real liberation from the little prisons we make for ourselves. Yet, to be a prodigal child of God, there still has to be that choice of turning and going to him, while turning you back on and walking away from the sinful lifestyle. If that is the way it works with God, then other than for personal spiritual edification, I cannot see that forgiving someone who is unrepentant and who keeps doing the same thing to you or to other people is very helpful.
In the video, I was waiting for exactly who and what we are to be forgiving, thinking that it was perhaps another overture to forgive all of the authorities and institutional heads and their minions for forcing the vaccines on the people. If that is the case, I have heard no apologies or overtures of repentance to the people from them. Rather, all I hear about is the threat of next bioweapon virus to be released and more and more vaccines to be forced on the people.
A friend of mine recently questioned a bishop on the issue of opposing and actively resisting the authorities on the vaccine issue and on other state impositions on children. Predictably, the bishop said that when it comes to such oppression, that as Christians we very often have to sacrifice our own interests to what is perceived as the common good, and to go along in order to get along. My friend could not agree. He said when you are persecuted or harmed by the State, it is one thing to be a martyr and sacrifice your own life and wellbeing in passive resistance or by going along with the evil dictates, but it is entirely another thing when you have a duty to protect innocent others in your care from the wolf at their door.
My view is that there are criminals who are repentant and eventually can be trusted to live among us without causing harm to others, and who can be forgiven, but that forgiveness is really up to the victims. Then there are habitual criminals who, no matter what measures you take, are never repentant. Our governments these days have become habitual criminal enterprises which serve to protect all manner of organized establishment crimes. The people working their way up in their structures have no intention of changing their stripes. They are most interested in and most instrumental in serving the interest of the power elites who from everything I have seen are essentially grasping, malevolent beings, intent on completely controlling us, and even killing us. If they want forgiveness, they first have to admit not their “mistakes” for their alleged stupidity, but rather their actual deceits and willful blindness in attaining their nefarious goals. Then if they want to be “justified”, they have to do their best to ensure proper restitution for their victims. If they don’t and people think it is too harsh a sentence to send them off to Hell, then in the very least they should all be arrested, tried, and shot (with lethal doses of spike proteins), and then let God decide where they are to go.

There are no Laws, neither divine nor natural; there are some courses of action you would be wise to follow. Teachers can only try to gently set an example

Forgiveness is a tacit recognition that the difference between self and other is a quantum increment displacement on the order of the Fine Structure Constant compared to the difference between self and Creator.
We are, unfortunately for some in this narcissist materialism world, virtually identical within the specifications of sensory/appetitive (flesh) gravitational pull versus rational/spiritual antigravitational release.
