New York City Mayor Eric Adams responded to criticism over increasing the use of facial recognition technology by declaring, “Big Brother is protecting you!”
Adams made the comments in response to elected officials who expressed concerns that using such technology could lead to an all-pervasive surveillance state.
Blaming his predecessor Bill de Blasio, Adams asserted that New Yorkers felt they were living in a “state of lawlessness” and that his priority was to “stabilise” the situation.
Facial recognition technology uses surveillance cameras to flag up individuals who appear on databases of criminal suspects when they enter certain public locations, although the technology is far from perfect.
“We will also move forward on using the latest in technology to identify problems, follow up on leads and collect evidence — from facial recognition technology to new tools that can spot those carrying weapons, we will use every available method to keep our people safe,” Adams previously asserted.
The Democrat also brazenly suggested that mass surveillance wasn’t a chilling slippery slide, but in fact a good thing.
“It blows my mind how much we have not embraced technology, and part of that is because many of our electeds are afraid. Anything technology they think, ‘Oh it’s a boogeyman. It’s Big Brother watching you,’” he told Politico. “No, Big Brother is protecting you.”
As in George Orwell’s 1984 dystopian classic, Adams presumably thinks that New Yorkers will learn to ‘love Big Brother’.
Albert Fox Cahn, the head of the Surveillance Technology Oversight Project, responded by warning that facial recognition technology would be weaponized to crack down on “every aspect of dissent” in the city.
“These are technologies that would be chilling in anyone’s hands. But to give an agency with such a horrifying record of surveillance abuse even more power, at a time when they face dwindling oversight, is a recipe for disaster,” he said.
Civil liberties advocates have warned that making facial recognition technology ubiquitous could lead to a Minority Report-style society where everyone, whether they have a criminal record or not, is tracked everywhere they go.
In China, authorities expanded the use of the tech as a form of permission slip to decide whether citizens are allowed to get online, an extension of the Communist state’s social credit score program.
“At present, a Chinese citizen will need to show his or her ID card while applying for a landline or the internet,” reported the Daily Mail. “The facial-recognition test is set to verify that the ID card belongs to the applicant.”
As we previously highlighted, technology that reveals a person’s identity without them even knowing they are being exposed has long been a goal of globalist technocrats.

Did you read the story on “The Big The One” about facial recognition software. Apparently, a bunch of uni students found that by printing a pull over/ jumper/ cardigan a particular way the facial recognition software could not find them. I was impressed.
There is some truth in the idea that technology moves on and no-one is controlling it. I read a book about how it has advanced regardless of politics and history, and people like Schwab hope they can put some human reins on it. When I let Icke or Alex Jones yodel all their warnings at me, I am probably doing the wrong thing. The books are saying we need to put controls where there were none, because the progress, as with biological evolution, is directionless
Of course, all of this is just a conspiracy, as it actually happens right in front of our eyes… wake the blazes up people…

Well, that’s easy. The agents of degradation, destruction, and lawlessness are easy to identify because they’ve been pulling their same shit for a few thousand years. Let me break it down to 2 demographics: Jews and blacks, which Jew York is unfortunately polluted with in spades.
A good start would be to send an Einsatzgruppen with machine guns and flame throwers into Wall Street to exterminate every criminal in sight. That means every stock market casino money junkie and parasitic “banker”, as they have been committing crimes on a massive scale. Then there’s ol’ Lucky Larry Silverstein, who had no problem playing accomplice and traitor in murdering 3,000 souls on 9/11 for his beloved Israhell and to pocket a billion or two.
And don’t forget Rudy “America’s Mayor” Ghouliani, who also knew damn well 9/11 was an inside job mass murder, but he had no problem running with it for political capital and to fatten his bank account.
And on and on and on from there. Most of the worst criminals in Jew York are wearing yarmulkes or suits and have weekend get-away spots in the Hamptons or Martha’s Vineyard. They murder, rape, and rob, and get to laugh their way to the bank.
Then there is the infestation of feral street simians and mongrel spics. Much more crude in their crimes, and less predictable in their shockingly violent outbursts since they lack any impulse control. Shlomo may steal your life savings, but Tyrone or Rico are more likely to sucker-punch you on the street or shove you in front of an oncoming train just for being white.
If “authorities” in Jew York were to round up blacks and the Jews and ship ’em off to a remote island, crime would plummet. I can’t say Jew York would suddenly be some sort of Shangri-La because it’s a wildly overbuilt shit-hole, but crime would go down dramatically.
One of the many problems with the Jewnited States is we have a bad problem with trickle-down crime. We’ve heard the money grubbers talk bloviate about “trickle down economics”, which is bullshit, of course. But we have a much bigger problem with trickle-down crime. While most of the plebs and hoi polloi are dangerously stupid, that doesn’t mean they don’t notice, or at least sense, all the self-appointed big shot in the predator/ruling class committing massive crimes and getting away with them. If the scum at the top of the socioeconomic food-chain can completely disregard law and morality, and not be held accountable for their crimes and horrible behavior, then why should the chumps scrambling for scraps follow any of the rules of society either?
