The art of living… is neither careless drifting on the one hand nor fearful clinging to the past on the other. It consists in being sensitive to each moment, in regarding it as utterly new and unique, in having the mind open and wholly receptive.”
Alan W. Watts
This festive season I thought I’d share my admiration for the ‘philosophical entertainer’ who helped bring about a cultural awakening in the mid-twentieth century: Alan Watts.
For those that don’t know, Alan watts (1915 – 1973) was a British philosopher, writer and public speaker, who speaks profoundly, eloquently and concisely in a grandfatherly tone, focussing on exploring and adequately explaining Eastern philosophies, such as Zen and Buddhism, to a Western audience. He published many books in his lifetime, including ‘The Way of Zen’ and ‘The Wisdom of Insecurity’
The self-conscious brain, like the self-conscious heart, is a disorder, and manifests itself in the acute feeling of separation between “I” and my experience. The brain can only assume its proper behaviour when consciousness is doing what it is designed for: not writhing and whirling to get out of present experience, but being effortlessly aware of it.”
Alan W. Watts, The Wisdom of Insecurity
He is a vaguely fantastical figure, with his mischievous grin and pointy beard. A glint in his eye as though he has some decisive answer to life’s great mysteries. Although he never claims to have any answers. He merely takes you on a journey, exploring curiosities and conundrums of the human condition. You may find some meaning in the journey, you may not.
But he is terribly engaging. And certainly worth listening to.
It is a very recent festive tradition, but I find nothing quite so soothing as settling down listening to endless hours of Alan Watts’ lectures, sipping slowly at a glass of wine, sparking up a cigarette when I hear the man himself light his cigars on the old, scratchy 1960’s recording. It sends you back in time almost, while simultaneously planting you in the wonders of this eternal present.
I have attached a beautiful video by ‘After Skool’ that illustrates his breakdown of ‘fake virtue’. It resonates with today. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has witnessed the fast amassing trend of self-styled saints we find ourselves plagued with today.
But by far the best lesson Alan Watts taught me was to not take the whole affair too seriously.
To be able to laugh in the face of ones own suffering is an invaluable tool, one that I shall always be thankful for, especially this time of year.
I invite you to pour yourself a drink, get yourself cosy, and lose yourself to a few hours of contemplation with a unique and engaging character.
It does the spirit good.
Merry Christmas!

LONDON CALLING LONDON CALLING
The recent death of the Underground Station Foreman/acting Inspector Clyde Warrender
means just one man is still alive and in retirement in Jamaica who knows the truth.
November 18 1987 150 firefighters and 30 fire engines
attended a huge fire at Kings Cross underground station where 31 people lost their lives.
This fire was actually planned by the SAS for the week before, but had to be cancelled at the last minute, tiolet paper was wound all up the escalator which staff then had to remove, toilet paper makes a perfect fuse as when it burns it burns to nothing.
The fire was deliberate but why ?
There were several witnesses who died who had knowledge
of Greville Janners sexual abuse of dozens of boys even and murder to silence.
Clyde Warrender came from a military family and ran the station with military precision
at closing time he would throw all the homosexuals from the public toilets
among them were many famous faces Sir Anthony Blunt and his boyfreind, Footballer
Justin Fashaneau and a host of BBC D. J.s actors and personalities.
But it was having to sit and watch the Seven Seven bombing on July 7 2005 which gave Clyde a severe mental breakdown, he left his post and was never able to go back to work.
He was told if he ever spoke of what he knew himself and his family would sufer badly for it,
he was very afraid and rarely left his house, he was convinced he was watched and listened to 24/7 as thats what he was told.
For an honest man who did his job as best he possibly could, and knowing that the bombing was done by the British government to get the Public behind a war on Saddham Hussien and the people of iraq, put him on strong anti-depressants.
Israel saw Iraq as a thorn in its expansionist policies, a story had to be concocted
and some Muslim patsies were found snd stitched up and killed.
This is not unusual to get w w 2 under way Churchill was bombing Germany for weeks and even had part of London bombed with planes painted in German colours to get his war going
and Germany to fight back.
Make no mistake the Government is not your friend, and never has been
we need to sweep the stink out of the stables, and vote in a fresh new non Rothschild party.
Shakespeare King Lear act 4 scene 1
“we are as flies to wanton boys, they kill us for their sport”
Watt’s is a bit of fun IMHO. He’s there, but not there. Some of us are searching for things like the meaning of life, and it is very tempting to be taken in by smooth talkers.
Think of all the bad sheeple who are smooth talkers?
Watts ramblings are full of trigger language. One could say that Watts was really a master of human weaknesses, but as stated, he had no answers.
I wouldn’t class Watts as a dangerous user of language, but he was close, but not like Graham Hancock.
I’ve listened to a lot of Watts on YouTube, but I am none the wiser, and that is one corner foundation stone, you’re not supposed to know lifes answers, because for some, life doesn’t end. I’ve had early childhood memories of a previous life, and I’ve no doubt that I’ll go on to the next life.
Life is about the now, living it the best you can, & not dwelling excessively about your mistakes.

Well yes I used to have his ‘The joyous Cosmology.’ In fact I met him! (at Esalen, Big Sur, California) But correct me if I’m wrong, he did end up as a depressed alcoholic boozer didn’t he? Shouldn’t that be part of the picture?
“So we don’t know” is an assumption on Alan’s part.
Whilst interesting and articulate Alan is something of a devil, an expert in deception.
He references the monkey and the fish as an act of virtue yet such is an act of ignorance. Rather than criticise ignorance his words undermine virtue instead. Strawman if ever.
Would we have any issue with the monkey placing a beached fish back in the water? Virtue is an act of kindness, a showing concern and consideration for others. Alan appears to be addressing instead the matter of interference which he mentions at 3.12.
“A plague of virtuous people” is only funny because it is an oxymoron, the audience already primed to perceive virtue as misguided and in a negative light.
I sure as hell would like to see a plague or should I say a rebirth of virtue for there is clearly a plague of evil and wickedness these days – everyone out for themselves, lying and stealing wherever they can.
Where I agree with Alan is on the matter of the collective, which I mentioned in an earlier post (none of which are truly “saints” as he malignes @ 3.57). Many have interfered with and injured me when part of a group (such as an employer) but cross paths with them as individuals and they become fearful and run away. That is something we need to understand and consider in the age in which we find ourselves.
At 3.50 he speaks of there being “too much” hinting at overpopulation.
On the subject of genetic modification of the human species Alan does not oppose such saying “the only thing you can do, just be sure that a vast variety of human beings is maintained.”
I think we can deduce Alan is a eugenicist.
“Our need for different kinds of people changes…”
I have heard enough.
Alan attacks virtue, then the saints now he accepts genetic modification and selective breeding of humans on the basis of OUR NEED.
Sounds exactly like another Yuval Noah Harari clone.
the hell is here . all devils are here .
there is no other hell ! I knew this
from beginning . but forgotten +
remembered since 22 years .
who has bad karma (Idont believe in
but could be posible like something
like god/dess could be possible) will
be reborn in this hell . as in my life I
can confirm Bagwan/Osho´s saying
that man has the unic abelity to make
a home in hell . at least when you are
not in the inner circle of this tornado hell .
The famous sayings get misunderstood–“The road to Hell is paved with good intentions” meant that we postpone our work and it never gets done
In the good old days when the propaganda worked they could convince their standing armies that their fight was just and righteous and the folk they were fighting against were devils.
Today Russia has the right to declare Americans devils if they come to Ukraine and fight against Russians. Today Americans should know their god and their fight in Ukraine is for Satan.
America and England a hundred years ago was white. A hundred years on America and England are no longer bringing culture and development to foreign lands just bombs and lots of trouble.
Ethnics around the world today could be forgiving for believing the American/English mindset and brand of supremacy is more criminal than ever…
Very hypocritical when our leaders tell us the time has come to protect mother earth…
Sad to see so much corruption and human endeavour wasted on war instead of making pretty our one and only mother earth.
Thank you very much for this! Have always dug listening to Watts, this IS timely. A true genius, speaking words of true wisdom…
Tesla car is the new virtue signalling car. Only the person who cares the most about climate change drives a Tesla car. Electric cars are a flash in the pan, Tesla is well on it’s way to bankruptcy because now the virtue signalling Left is mad as hell that Elron Muskrat took over Twitter, so now they are going to destroy Elron and Twitter.
I call him Elron Muskrat because he is a conman like L Ron Hubbard, and a rat who promotes global warming – because he farmed billions in electric car subsidies.
And Twitter is right back censoring people like that viral tweet yesterday about how welfare recipients are buying lobster on their EBT.
The only way out of this Jewish-Christian created multiracial mongrel mess in these ‘western nations’ is Crowley’s ‘The Book of the Law’. Otherwise the race is destined to die out from the insane dysgenic egalitarian ethics & ideals of Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Communism & humanitarianism.
Mein Kampf + The Book of the Law = Aryan Resurrection
That’s all you need to know.
A.A.
Alan Watts! LOL! The guy was a charlatan and con man extraordinaire.
Like all con men, certainly he could conjure sweet words and turns of phrases flowing with honey. That’s precisely how they lure and deceive their innocent prey, who contrary to popular misconceptions, are typically not morons and dupes. It’s often quite surprising how seemingly intelligent people fall for fraudsters of all kind … it speaks more to the lack of “street smarts” than general intelligence.
Think of Alan Watts as the 60’s and 70’s version of Jordan Peterson. As a matter of fact, one could argue that Peterson has merely recycled Watts’s shallow and asinine “philosophy”.
Unfortunately there is a fundamental contradiction in all of this, and an underlying smugness for the status quo. It is only by foreseeing the consequences of out intentions or a moral basis of right and wrong and either refraining from carrying them out or doing them that we can actually see the effects. The Inquisition is a classic example of our modern stupidity and the failure to properly discern the past in an age where the lack of due process, torture and capital punishment was customary in all of the despotic orders, religious and otherwise, and it was by actual Christin moral reflection, in terms of right and wrong, that there has been changed. With Watt’s philosophy there would be very little change or actual betterment from out evil inclinations and especially from our abuses of power over others, as well as the suppression of the exposure of the evil in our midst, in our own lives and in the lives of others. In his brand of relativism how can be pontificate about anything?
Maud Dib Nil Kollerstrom snd Chris Cooper already told us that the 7 7 bombing was done by our own traitorous government
bastards
In the immortal words of little Stevie Wonder . .
“When you believe in things you don’t understand then you suffer,
(superstition ain’t the way)”
And neither is metaphysical gobbledygook..
What a can of worms this alcoholic opens up. Who says there’s a ‘road’ to hell? And who needs a map if we’re already there? What about the biggest ‘reformer’ of them all, the one who bequeathed man a faulty operating system, with the ‘best of intentions’, knowing full well that a God damned mess was forthcoming yet has the audacity to hold the flawed creation responsible for the very operating system that was never asked for in the first place.

It means just like what the monkey did, or the busybodies that want to prick you with the Covid-19 vaccine, “for your own good”.
The saying for “postpone our work” is “Put off for tomorrow what you can do today”.

Yes…
TPTB focuss is controlling land and resources
They want turmoil in many NoN White countries so as to access and control Oil, Natural Gas, mineral, metals etc…etc..
In the midst of all this..they concurrently:
(i) create and encourage refugees to invade historically White Countries
(ii) encourage alleged “Indigenous” groups to shame First World “White” citizens that they are on stolen land
Ultimately, this is a multi- pronged attack to effectively remove and erase Whites from any/all lands
I’m not sure why but there has been a concerted effort, over the last couple or three years, to resurrect the reputation of Alan Watts. Somebody clearly likes him and, whomever they may be, they seem to have expended a considerable amount of effort in promoting his legacy on video-sharing platforms. It must be somebody who loved him, somebody in his family, perhaps.
We are expected to be in awe of Watts’ transcendental wisdom. Yet, he wore the ancient teachings like a fashion. Listen to him more closely. He’s not a philosopher; he’s a raconteur of zeitgeist. Ego above spirit.
Wisdom is handsome in a man. It can win the favours of the most delightful ingenues, the very prettiest of pretty hippy chicks.
Fuentes–the other saying is “Do NOT put off till tomorrow what you can do today”, but here we are, mired in illiteracy, arguing the toss about old sayings. Maybe you are are foreign and part of the demolition of English

What was the word again that your brother taught you and you passed on to me? I can’t find it in my notes. It was about languaging and I think that it was prefixed by -idio.
Losing something new, before you’ve even got it home, is annoying. Thanks.

Alan Watts served as a spiritual signpost along my way and for that I remain grateful 50 years down the pike. Eventually I read all of his scholarly works and listened to hours of tapes, his voice with no illustrations or music for a backdrop. I only attended one of his “live lectures”, in Berkeley 1969. He had a way of circling the unspeakable Truth until one understood the flight pattern and received a glimpse of It.
Thank you for posting this reminder of simpler, more innocent times, when all was not “fake”. I never knew Alan Watts personally. Possibly he himself was a “real fake”, as some here suggest. Even now, I can hear him chuckling at the thought.
Ecstatic mysticism has a very unpleasant effect on me like some hypoglycemic crash, so I cannot be bothered to listen or even read any of that stuff. Sort of like a boredom bullet whose effect is instantaneous rather than protracted: bang! and I am bored. I get the same reaction when someone talks about Broadway musicals or plays jazz music or shows me modernist architecture and paintings.
All these pursuits clothe themselves in pretentious complexity in order to evade simple, down-to-earth logic which can be reverse engineered down to its first principles and axioms—at which point you either accept them or not if they are found disagreeable—which is what Jews, as the masters of obfuscation fear—being found out to be the worshipers of evil, sorcerers and witchdoctors.
And then retrace the steps back up logic ladder to the present requirement of mysticism, emotionalism and mindless ecstasy facilitating subjugation of the gullible hordes to ensure the power grab, which is what’s it all about.
Power at the expense of the comfortably deluded.
The current mind space is heavily polluted with this junk, fake glitter, sloth and as so often, Jew uses strident Protestant militancy as crowbar to separate honest investigation from righteousness, blithely slapping fashionably empty labels on otherwise shoddy wares.
Case in point:
Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord: he is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored; he hath loosed the fatal lightning of his terrible swift sword: his truth is marching on.
What is the church hymnary saying? “The Lord” is on my side and not yours (whichever dispute) and he will exact a cruel vengeance on you, like a champion warrior of old, say Achilles leading the Greeks against the Trojans. A universal god that takes sides without regard for considerations of justice? Well, yes … see the Jew behind the curtain? Thus, virtue signaling trumps the virtue itself and correctness is political, now this, tomorrow that.
Maybe these habitually unfocused systems like Zen do have saving grace and profundity in their spaced out tolerance of just about everything (which is why Jew likes them so much because he is let off the hook), but no one has been able to argue this case thoroughly enough to persuade me.
I see some discussion about the value of “the road to hell is paved with good intentions” and all I can say is, so what’s with the bad intentions, do they cause a U-turn in this road to hell? Because if not, every intention, good or bad, leads to hell, so maybe indeed the best not to have any intentions just go laid back mystical.
Alan Watts, rest in peace but do try harder the next turn of the wheel.

Ah! Excellent. Many thanks, Lewis.
The saying is in Solomon, that if you do not keep up with the daily chores you will end up surrounded by foxes and brambles. Also, to reminisce, there was five hours of talking with my brother in a caravan and on a walk under blue sky around Lathkill Dale in July when I was taught that new word; we never get bored talking language (and comedy)

I love my brother too. Family bonds are passionate and life-long. They are a joy, mostly. I hadn’t seen my brother for a year and a half, before yesterday. It was so easy, picking up from before. Our conversation lasted till early morning. It was vast-ranging, whiskey-tinged and profoundly telling, in a way that only two brothers would truly appreciate.
