My late father’s house had one….when we missed some payments via error….. they shut off the power remotely….and charged a re: hook up fee.
Fellow with YouTube channel “McMaster”…..has done numerous videos re the electric car he has purchased…he is sounding the alarm to stay away from them……the list of reasons is looooong. The free electricity chargers are going….and they are now charging road tax. Various electric car manufacturers can’t deliver models as promised….due to microchip shortages etc. Won’t even get into they can shut down the vehicles remotely if one doesn’t pay for upgrades…..or simply get hacked by terrorists….
