The new govt a massive coalition of the will-ful had been elected in the spring, comprising Social Dems, Centre, Greens, Swedish Finns Party, Left Wing alliance. The PM SDP Antti Rinne was mysteriously forced to resign over a minor issue concerning the Postal service- ostensibly this was a confidence measure. The reality was the installation of the fresh faced WEF sponsored photogenic Sanna Marin as PM of a Cabinet almost entirely of women, Green Pekka Haavisto, openly Gay Foreign Minister being an exception… She, Marin, unknown largely aged 34 was a Rainbow child as her mother & another woman had lived together and brought her up when the father disappeared. Move on a few months and the Covid Scare is unleashed, Sanna Marin become the pretty and strident face of controls, lockdown, hysteria etc etc for National Good. Contrast with next door’s Swedish approach under their then PM, who later was replaced by a woman who implemented Covid fear and applied to join NATO too, nice co-incidence? As for the Mayor election in Pori and Krista Kiuru’s alleged Waterloo uh uh, she will be found a nice cushy state job or quango to sit on . And the election is decided by a college of voters- the town council NOT the people so no pushback there.
The military exhibition is interesting yes, it underlines that people conveniently forget history. Finland’s alliance with Imperial Germany in 1918 led to its bitter Civil War, the ‘white’ victors only abandoned the desire for having a German King when they saw that Imperial Germany was being overwhelmed by the Allied side. Finland could maintain its traditional neutral role of honest broker, a vital thing for real negotiation between Ukraine & Russia . Sweden would not have joined NATO, other NATO countries Germany in particular might have been a deal more cautious in sending endless money & weapons to Zelensky and there would be no likelihood of US nukes or forces arriving on Finnish soil to ‘protect’ the people. But the ‘experts’ have vowed otherwise and the people will suffer the consequences: hyperinflation, loss of military autonomy, lack of energy and total instability for years,.

What the major parties constantly do is intimidate independent voters with the threat that they will split the vote on their traditional leanings which they “say” they stand for, but never really do. Covid is the classic example of the absolute failure of all of the mainstream parties in Canada and even the new Populist Party of Canada which turned out to be absolutely chicken-shit regarding the totally unnecessary and oppressive, top-down Covid mandates and the totally unnecessary and highly-toxic top-down vaccines.
In any case, my opinion based on my own observation of trends in own riding of those who voted PPC in the last Federal election was that there was obviously was vote rigging of some kind, based on the facts they had a real organization, the numbers who where their supporters, and that independents who had no notoriety got more votes. Something was clearly wrong with the counting, in my view. The biggest worry of the establishment and their parties and was that the fledging party would get off of the ground with any real showing at the polls in that election only to encourage that movement – which independence ALL the establishment parties from left to right absolutely hate. Of course, the either very amateur or very controlled PPC never contested anything and just went away with their tails between their legs.
Voting for parties ensures that there will always be some body of elites, some executive or a wheeling-and-dealing steering committee between the actual citizens and the individual candidates they have chosen to “represent” them and not some other power broker. In the party system everything is controlled from the top down by the rich and powerful people who control the nation. That way nothing new or reforming really gets off the ground, everything from the actual people is compromised in the process and is generally ignored. The top-down corruption remains supreme once your elected representative gets to the capital. In Canada we call it “Ottawashed”.
Covid has proven that the present democratic system in the West is a fraud just as much as Covid was a fraud, and that the biggest fraud is what we call “responsible” government, allegedly acting in the public interest but actually giving them the sense of a right to rule through lies, massive deceptions, fear mongering, and oppression. What people who want a say through their votes need is to get off of their asses and to get rid of the party system, for more direct democracy where each individual elected actually represents the voters of his or her riding or area, and remains directly accountable to them and not to any party of corrupt, lying puppets going along with the bribes and diktats of party brass, government bureaucracies, corporations, foundations, or forums of any kind.
Is not independent media where you can get the truth and have a say much, much better than the mainstream media of the corrupt establishment? If so, then why not real democracy with independent candidates elected on short leashes to their voters to actually represent their interests. Restrict the bribe and influence money coming into elections to corrupt the media, the people, and the entire process, and you will have a better basis to clean up the corruption in the capitals.

The evidence tends to suggest that he was all too aware of Stalin’s intention to attack Germany and so took pre-emptive action.

NATO has now laid like a cuckoo its eggs in Finland’s nest and is waiting for it to bury them so it can have new chicks ready to fight its battles as it conquers new territory and pursues only its own interests in the world.
