On October 31, many North America celebrate Halloween. The name came from “All Hallow’s Eve” for the following day, is All Saints’ Day which is still celebrated by Catholics and Anglican Christians, and the day after that is All Souls’ Day.
I suppose that for the next few days I can be regarded as a “Saintanist” in honoring the saints in my church, which is the opposite, at least to me, in being a “Satanist”, and I remain quite dismayed with what has become of Halloween. In kicking God out of the public square, it seems that in the various vacuums which have been created that there is nothing which the secular humanists touch, in their fake neutralism, that they do not pervert and turn upside down, “bum sex” and the lot, as alluded to by Fozdyke’s, serving to invite Satan in instead. Also, Christmas in our affluent West has become a time when we tend to teach kids more about getting rather than giving.
Even the Catholic mass has been turned on its head by the Satanists with their black mass, where in their inability to be creative and are only destructive, they in effect are saying that the essence of their belief system, their ideal and image of the Almighty, is the opposite to the person of Christ, whom the hate. Yet, in weird sort of way he is still central. As for what the Catholics have done to their mass, with the smoke of Satan being on the rise over the past 60 years, I am not one to dispute or debate the validity of the Novis Ordo Mass which came out of Vatican II, or the merits of the traditional one over it, but I have to wonder if it has not taken the same turn for the worst as with Christmas and Halloween. Although, I commonly attend both types of masses, I seriously wonder if in the Vatican II spirt of pluralism that a great deal has been lost in the process.
I attended a Latin mass in Vancouver today and realized that the high point was not in the communion or what solace I may get in return, nor what I may give in the offertory, but that when the bells pealed their donging sound in my hollow little brain, the high point was not what we get or even what we give but rather what the person Jesus gave – the perfect expiation, the perfect agape sacrifice, gift or offering “to” God, not “to” us, but nevertheless “for” us. That was the idea or union to resound in our hearts which really matters, and it just so happens to be the anthesis of anything to do with or from Satan.
It was a mass which was teaming with young couples and children. Incidentally, very few of them were vaxxed, I doubt even 10%. During the height of the Covid mandates even fewer wore masks, which was one of the reasons my wife and I began attending there last year. No, they were not “restricted” people. They were liberated with the facts because they had been told by their pastor that they were free to seek out the medical facts for themselves in order to make responsible choices for themselves and their children.
Then in that old church hall downstairs after mass today, where the like-minded “conspirators for Christ” jam pack about 40 lunch tables for fellowship, coffee and eats, with about 100 babies and kids of all ages running about, they had the annual “All Saints Day Parade” around the tables, where the kids had dressed up as various saints from around the world, and then took their turn in having people guess what saint they were. Sure, it would seem to many readers on this site that this is all too churchy, but no one there thought so. Nor was it contrived, but most of all, at least to me, it was something where the kids were identifying with people who were considered good and holy, and not with something monstrous, horrifying and evil like with a good number of the children who will come to our door tomorrow night.

When someone died it was due to displeasing god. Humans have spent many thousands of years trying to appease the gods, animal and human sacrifice. That happened for one simple reason, they could not explain thunder and lightning or if bad things happened to good people.
Eventually the tales about god were codified into holy writings. God was said to be good, and perfect. The funniest thing I read this weekend was some tweet – that if your god is not telling you to stay away from the vaxx, time to get a new god.
