The way in which Wheeler was haphazardly carrying the black semi-auto rifle was a clear indication that idiot was not a trained operator by any stretch. If someone on a tactical / combat team was dangling his shit like that and “flagging” everyone behind him while demonstrating piss-poor muzzle discipline would get his ass kicked by other guys in the unit. Someone apparently coached him up later to use the sling. It is also highly doubtful the designated sniper would also be carting a semi-auto combat rifle with his sniper rifle. A pistol sidearm yes, which was conspicuously missing on Wheeler by the way, as a backup, but not two rifles like that.
The bit near the end showing the powder residue on the magazine rack was also an accurate assessment by the video producer – that was clearly from a breaching round from a shotgun, not from an AR-15 rifle round.
