If the left was the main power as so many believe then Corbyn would have become the Prime Minister in 2019 in an honest election. He was clearly the popular candidate amongst the people and the turnouts for him were huge and he’d have blown the Tories away. We’ll, yesterday a large truck arrived, and lifted this bin, but I was astonished to see the large metal ground plate was attached to this bin, and below this plate, was a huge stainless steel box, as big as a moderate garden shed, which was raised out of the ground, emptied it, and then lowered it back into the deep recess below ground level. All you see above ground is a box 90cm high, by 90cm wide and 80cm deep. This wouldn’t happen in the UK, because councillors would poo poo the investment, and waste the money on closing roads. And there are 6 of these deep hidden bins. Just marvelous. My local park in London has pathetic bins which are constantly overflowing, because Lambeth has never, in all my time in London (1984), tackled litter and dog shit, oh, and there’s the usual 4 months of slimy leaf multch covered pavements, which are also covered in pigeon shit.
In comparison, France is a utopia. And I’ve not even covered the French health care. Because I had a long conversation with a Brit living in France. He said the health care in France is amazing. Treatment happens almost immediately. Sure, you pay a nominal fee, but you get it back.

I’ve now been in France for over a month, & I can tell you, that despite its problems, problems that are there, because the French demand and ecpect so much, these problems are pretty minor compared to dysfunctional bankrupt Britain.
Overwhelming, France is a very clean country, compared to shit hole Britain. Everywhere looks tidy, the verges are trimmed, the roads have white markings, yes, just white. Not multicoloured shit like the UK. In municipal, they are regularly painted. There are EV charging points, but I haven’t seen an obvious EV anywhere. So yes, France, and many other EU countries are utopias, compared to the UK. Every time I visit France, there are new roads, or they are being upgraded. You will see patching on minor roads, but in the main, France is still able to afford to completely re-tar entire sections of road. I’ve not seen a pot-hole on any main road, main urban road, or motorway, be that toll, or free from tolls. The comparison between the UK and France is as stark as night and day.
And its not just that the UK doesn’t repair roads, its the fact that UK roads are built to a much lower standard than French and first tier EU countries. Oh, we need an opt out on decent roads, because we’d rather send a carrier to the South China Sea, and wave a flag at China.

Near to where I am parked, there are some small stainless steel bin like contraptions. They look pretty expensive to be bins of that size. We’ll, yesterday a large truck arrived, and lifted this bin, but I was astonished to see the large metal ground plate was attached to this bin, and below this plate, was a huge stainless steel box, as big as a moderate garden shed, which was raised out of the ground, emptied it, and then lowered it back into the deep recess below ground level. All you see above ground is a box 90cm high, by 90cm wide and 80cm deep. This wouldn’t happen in the UK, because councillors would poo poo the investment, and waste the money on closing roads. And there are 6 of these deep hidden bins. Just marvelous. My local park in London has pathetic bins which are constantly overflowing, because Lambeth has never, in all my time in London (1984), tackled litter and dog shit, oh, and there’s the usual 4 months of slimy leaf multch covered pavements, which are also covered in pigeon shit.
In comparison, France is a utopia. And I’ve not even covered the French health care. Because I had a long conversation with a Brit living in France. He said the health care in France is amazing. Treatment happens almost immediately. Sure, you pay a nominal fee, but you get it back.
