Look, I’m not suggesting some of these “alternative” news sources deliberately disseminate false information, but often it’s the human tendency to grossly exaggerate, amplify, distort, and hyperbolize to the point that the original story is completely subsumed and turned into parody.
I looked into this story a few weeks ago: turns out that about ten Canadian docs have died in the past couple of months, but most were suffering from long term chronic diseases predating covid (leukemia, autoimmune conditions, etc). Only three young docs dropped dead. Tragic, sure. But a sensible, rational, critical thinker would ask: how many young people dropped dead in 2019 or 2018 or years prior to that? People, after all, did die prior to the covid kill shots, even the young. The answer is startling: every year a few teens or a twenty-somethings suddenly die (arrhythmia, embolism, etc).
Are the numbers in the youth higher now? That has not been conclusively established. Maybe. Maybe not. Regardless, one has to be careful believing such boogey-man stories. Don’t get me wrong: no one should be getting the kill shots, but one must also call out these type of sensationalist nonsense.
