Somebody said Dugin is a monarchist who wants to put a non-direct Romanov descendant – probably a European royal we’ve never heard of – back on the Russian throne. If so then he can’t be a Bolshevik; and it’s hard to see how a descendant of a non-Romanov would be accepted as a legitimate ruler.
The Bolsheviks killed the Romanovs so that whatever happened to Russia thereafter there could never be a monarchist revival to put a Romanov descendant back on the throne, or there’d already be powerful monarchist revival movements now the Soviet era is over.
