The United Nations has declared war on conspiracy theories, describing the rise of conspiracy thinking as “worrying and dangerous”, and providing the public with a toolkit to “prebunk” and “debunk” anybody who dares to suggest that world governments are anything but completely honest, upstanding and transparent.
The UN also warns that George Soros, the Rothschilds and the State of Israel must not be linked to any “alleged conspiracies.”
UNESCO has teamed up with Twitter, the European Commission and the World Jewish Congress to launch the campaign dubbed #ThinkBeforeSharing: Stop the spread of conspiracy theories.
The UN wants you to know that events are NOT “secretly manipulated behind the scenes by powerful forces with negative intent” and if you encounter anybody who thinks the global elite are conspiring to consolidate power and dictate global events, you must take action.
According to UNESCO, “if you are certain you have encountered a conspiracy theory” on the internet then you must “react” immediately post a relevant link to a “fact-checking website” in the comments.
(Never mind the fact that “fact checkers” are mostly untrained and unqualified hacks performing “fact checks” from the comfort of their bedroom in between posting far-left political content on personal blogs and getting high.)
UNESCO also provide advice for anyone who encounters a real live conspiracy theorist in the flesh. According to the UN agency, you must not under any circumstances be lured into an argument with the conspiracy theorist. “Any argument may be taken as proof that you are part of the conspiracy and reinforce that belief” and the conspiracy theorist will probably “argue hard to defend their beliefs.“
Instead you must show “empathy“, avoid “ridiculing them“, and if you are a journalist you must “report” them to social media and “contact your local/national press council or press ombudsman.”

Remarkably, hidden in the fine print, UNESCO admit that conspiracy theories do exist. Under the heading “What is a real conspiracy?” the United Nations bureaucrats explain that “real conspiracies large and small DO exist.”
According to the UN, it’s only a REAL conspiracy theory if it’s “unearthed by the media.”
“They are more often centered on single self-contained events, or an individual like an assassination or a coup d’etat. They are unearthed by whistleblowers and the media, using verifiable facts and evidence.“
There is just one problem with the UN’s definition of a “real” conspiracy theory. The media has been fully bought and paid for by the elite. And it’s the elite who are conspiring against the masses.

A rather intriguing post, which I would like to dispute one aspect of, if you don’t mind.
If they were with us today, I fancy that Julian and Aldous Huxley would be regarded (by those of us who concern ourselves with such things) as deep-state operatives. The two brothers were, in fact, pioneers in the post-war development of psychological -operations strategies (along with Ian Fleming and Arthur C. Clarke, lest we forget.)

It’s a real shame that George Orwell didn’t live longer because his final three books are, in a real sense, his personal declaration of autonomy from the Left. Definitively so, in 1984, which could be regarded, subtextually, as a “whistleblower” narrative. George Orwell awakened to the truth late in life but that’s better than not awakening at all. It’s why I consider him as much of a loss as Byron (though he was nowhere near as good a writer as George Gordon.) It’s the promise of what was yet to come, I suppose. Nobody second-guesses the Grim Reaper though.
I personally believe, that in his heart, Orwell was a good man, although his politics were misgiven for the greater part of his adult life.
Something that he did share with Aldous Huxley, incidentally, was that, each of them, as writers, were much the more competent with non-fiction. Many may dispute it but I think that they were both lousy novelists. They wrote fiction, as if it were a prop for the weighing of cold ideas. Neither had any aptitude for emotional expression, less it were misery.
The working title for 1984 was “The Last Man In Europe” which is a much better title, I’ve always thought. A rather poor last minute change, as last minute changes go, eh?

It has been proven beyond doubt that Jack the Ripper was a jew named Arron Kosminski.
A man called Russell Edwards bought , in an auction, the shawl found on the body of Catherine Eddowes, the fourth victim of Kosminski. He put this shawl under forensic tests and found semen stains with Kominski’s DNA on it. Also, he found out that the police at the time of the murders knew exactly who it was but were prevented from arresting him. They finally put him away in an asylum, no more murders.

@ Fredc. I agree. Long drawn out comments by some posters can be off-putting. Although FredB has my respect for his knowledge and intellect, the longer the comment the least likely it will get read. Keep comments brief and to the point.
I for one won’t read an article or a comment if it doesn’t get my attention in the first para and I think that goes for most readers in general who just don’t have the time to spend ploughing through drawn out commentaries. I think that applies right across the board when it comes to commentaries in all fields of the media.
Some posters on here also go wondering off into different topics unrelated to the core of the article and others defeat their own object by reaching out for the Thesaurus to find the most complicated alternatives to normal everyday language. Which brings up that other question; Why do gutter tabloids attract the most readers? Simple language works wonders!
