When I got this email Monday, I was slightly unnerved. It was a reminder that banks can wipe you out any time they want.

They weren’t going to post my balance any more. But rest assured, the money is still there and they will continue to charge fees.
What was the purpose of this? I didn’t ask. I closed the account.
While waiting to pick up my bank draft, I browsed through the three brochures on display.
One showed a black guy. Another an inter-racial marriage, and a third showed a mixed race family.

I can confirm what Henry is saying in regards to bank media output. All over Canada and I’m sure many other areas, banks put out multi-racial propaganda only. No whites are allowed on any Bank pamphlets. All advertising inside of banks display only black, and brown people, along with multi-racial couples ONLY!!! Once in a while a white Female may slip through, but white Men are forbidden. Henry’s posting is quite accurate.

Old news. UK banks started shutting ‘dormant’ accounts years ago. 6 years of no activity and it’s closed and the money vanishes. Then you have a heck of a job getting it back. (And they routinely ignore the 6 years rule too).
