I wouldn’t be too hard on the guy Carl. For those wishing to carve out their own alternative reporter/journalist, there surely is the problem of funding. As you say, he really isn’t saying much we don’t already know. Few alternative outlets are worthy of subscription, but there are some, and these do very well be having extremely high standards of research, subject matter, and production.
I have had half arsed attempts at video myself, but my longest informative attempt is about a tenth of Max Igan’s “wind up and finish” 🙂
