I went to Specsavers to pick up some new glasses. The guy on the door wanted me to gel my hands, I said no, so he said I could go out back and wash them, so I said no, so I stood in the doorway as he went to fetch them. About 5 members of staff came to ask me if I needed help, I said no to each and pointed to the jobsworth who was looking for my glasses. They thought is was odd. I refused the paper bag, and I told him, I’ll never be coming back, and I’ll never use Specsavers again. That’s how you apply power. I wrote them a stinking piss taking complaint on their website, explaining that they were the only shop in Clapham Junction mandating these stupid jobsworth policies. I’ve got a reply which I am about to read. I am sure it’s going to be full of the usual bullshit.
