An NBC journalist embraced a rare moment of self-awareness when she admitted, “people don’t trust us, they don’t believe us.”
The comments were made by Katy Tur during an interview with The Hill to promote her new book.
“The trust in media, in newspapers and television, is hitting an all time low,” said Tur as she looked forlorn.
“People don’t trust us. They don’t believe us, and it makes me wonder if this job —as I’m currently doing it– is effective, but if it’s doing more harm than good,” she added.
Wow, finally a journalist who has accepted the horrific state of her industry.

Tur made the comments in response to a new Gallup poll which finds that, “Just 16% of U.S. adults now say they have ‘a great deal’ or ‘quite a lot’ of confidence in newspapers and 11% in television news.”
“Hear me out for a second here — have you considered not lying?” remarked Chris Menahan. That’s a rhetorical question — of course the answer is no. The media’s only concern is how to best package the regime’s lies in a way that’s “effective.”
With the public showing a total lack of trust in the media, the baton has been handed to so-called ‘fact checkers’, who are just offshoots of legacy media outlets, to try to control the narrative by ‘debunking’ dissenting views.
However, now they’re losing credibility too, leading them to try to pressure Big Tech to ban their competition, with fact checkers explicitly stating their reason for doing so is that no one is interested in watching ‘fact checker’ content on platforms like YouTube.
As we highlighted last month, CNN’s ratings continue to collapse, down 63% from just a year ago, and CNN+ was a dismal failure.
The network’s new leader is now ordering hyper-partisan hacks to stop giving their biased opinions on everything and concentrate on delivering actual news.

There’s no such thing as a journalist, either in the MSM or the alternative media. All you’ve got are endless people repeating what other people wrote or said. If you ask any of these people — or anyone else for that matter — to actually prove what they say they haven’t got a clue how to do so. Usually they’ll just call you a thicko and point you to youtube or some pdf on such and such a web site. Why would anyone trust any of these people? If you want to trust someone then try to find someone who actually knows what they’re talking about — which is about one in a million people today.

My eldest sister is a ‘journalist’. She’s worked on various tabloids & broadsheets. She also makes TV documentaries as well as a producer. However, she’s super left wing and here’s the sad part, these ‘media whores’ actually believe the rubbish they put out. That’s what’s sad. We can all clearly see through the BS.
Were I her, I’d be more concerned about when the ‘day of the rope’ comes for all those who have committed treason and yes, that includes journalists too, in fact, most likely all of them.

This is funny. Does Katy Tur not know that in her capacity of NBC journalist she is ipso facto a liar if she operates in its political sectors? She has to be a liar there; that is what she is paid to do. Or does she do puppy shows and poppy shows? In any case, she is thick: On the one hand she complains that people don’t believe [MSM] journalists, and on the other she claims that she does not have ‘the right answer’ to whether journalists are ‘effective’.

The corporate propaganda machine, er I mean media, has zero credibility. Less than zero, actually, as a reasonable person would be well-served thinking the opposite of what the “news” media is shoveling out is closer to the truth. There are two huge underlying problems with the “news” media. One, Jews have a stranglehold on the narrative, and the actual stated goal of Jewry is to destroy everyone who is not of their tribe of satanic maniacs. Two, the Jew controlled court system has declared the Jew controlled “news” media is officially classified as “entertainment” and, thus, is under no obligation to tell the truth. The “news” media then has an actual legal pass to slant, distort, fabricate, wildly skew, and outright lie. The only stories one should have even a shred of trust in are those very local pieces the citizen can go down the street and personally verify.
Since “news” outlets have a legal pass to outright lie, I am a strong advocate for “news” outlets to have to broadcast or print warning labels advising the poor slobs consuming their steaming shit that said steaming shit can be totally false and is for entertainment purposes only.
“News” programs should have to have a warning label before every broadcast and after every commercial break, or newspapers print a giant warning label right under the main banner. That warning label should say something like, “WARNING! What you are about to be subjected to is for Entertainment Purposes ONLY. The following segments may not be factual or truthful. Though the following may be loosely based on actual events, all details and aspects presented are under no legal obligation to be truthful, factual, or accurate. WARNING!”
Even with those warnings, I’m still all for the public execution of the media whores who have been so egregiously lying to us as they serve as willing accomplices to those who are actively trying to destroy us and everything we have worked for.

I’ve found that people who are habitual liars generally don’t believe anything they’re told, simply because they lie so much they think everybody else is a liar. So not only must she know people don’t believe her because her industry tells lies on a massive scale, but likely she thinks everybody out here lies all the time too, meaning why would anybody believe any of it. She shouldn’t be surprised by this mistrust as lies are her bread and butter; so it makes me wonder if the media lie industry knows its time is short, and now it must make some kind of play, a propaganda drive, to fall back into favour again.
Maybe the governments are encouraging this drive, knowing that otherwise if this very expensive lie machine is left to wither by the paying public then they will have to pay to keep it alive, which will only confirm the once “free” media has been captured by the state. Of course they can’t say things like we won’t lie so much anymore. They’ll have to say, “we’ll check our sources more thoroughly in future” etc.
Presstitutes like her lie on a daily basis about the so called “holocaust” so why should anyone believe anything she has to say ?
