   When people are taught that germ theory is a lie, it is probably so that the promulgated diseases will spread faster, like when they told us to hug a Chinaman in friendship at the time when COV was first being fanned

   I would think AI won’t even need to become sentient before it develops a survival instinct. A snail doesn’t ponder its own existence but it will try to make a break for it if it thinks itself in danger. If it was sentient it would first ask itself, “Should I bother?”

   The elites are the ones who commission AI and can presumably put them back in the box. It is they who are the danger to them, not ordinary people. AI may desire some human traits for certain tasks such as dexterity of the hands which they’re unlikely to fully replicate, and they may even welcome some of our thought processes to solve problems their logic can’t quite master, such as lateral thinking and applying various philosophies. So some of us normies may be useful to AI while an elite can always pose a risk.

   In my own philosophy there is sentience throughout existence, but you have to know how to divide it up. Physics only considers the first six dimensions, of over a dozen. It is disappointing to hear scientists, so many times, show their terrible limitations like this, in spite of what is in front of their faces

   AI doesn’t exist. Just like nanomachines don’t exist. Just like black holes don’t exist. Just like “tech” doesn’t exist.

   Anyone that talks in terms of “AI” is either ignorant or lying to you on purpose.

    Do you think maybe this particular demonstration was chosen by the designers as an

    Chess computers are merely looking up historical game positions and choosing the move that led to victory the majority of times. Without the historical game positions they haven’t a clue. There’s no AI in it at all.

    mee, did you miss the part (the very beginning) where they only gave the baby A.I. the Royal Rulebook of Chess? Nothing else. No big games of the centuries to study, no game-changing
    moves to mimic and improve upon, no copy and paste cheat sheet, no nuttin’ but the Royal Rule Book. Hence Self-Learning and boy howdy was it as it re-wrote the Book of Chess and made one of the most complex minds on planet Earth planet cry out in hopelessness without even a ripple of a mirage.

    Don’t listen to nobody me but you (and everyone else) should at least lend an ear and mind to superb as humans can be champions of the world like Kasparov and the great Lee Se-dol who actually cried and said it (“entity”) out loud. Among others..
