You say that the companies and govs are the polluters — well, at least you’re man enough to acknowledge that pollution is happening, which is more than most — but you fail to mention your own pollution. The general idea is that it’s always the other guy’s fault. It’s apple’s fault that their employees work in sweatshops for peanuts, and you buying an apple phone has nothing to do with it. It’s mcdonald’s fault for clear felling the rainforests, and it’s nothing to do with you when you buy from them. Well, the nuclear waste is yours too, as is your sewage, and your car fumes, and all the rest. The logical analogy to disprove all this sophistry is simply this — whose fault is it when someone buys child porn? The buyer? The maker? Or both?
