Years ago I read a book (perhaps titled Autobiography of a Yogi) authored by a very advanced soul on earth, Paramahansa Yogananda.
He mentioned seeing souls on the other side, floating, waiting for Karma to take them back to earth, they looked like a mass of light. He mentioned typically, souls can basically take any form they desire, on the other side, but he mentioned light is the purest form of energy.
Not all souls partake in floating, waiting for Karma to return them to earth, some are very active preparing for their next earth life or the better choice, becoming more spiritually advanced as part of the process of breaking the cycle of birth and rebirth.
Years ago, a very spiritual, gifted clairvoyant (especially about past lives), associated with the Association of Research and Enlightenment (Edgar Cayce) suggested I read the book.
The clairvoyant, looking at a photograph of me, mentioned a unique bit of a phobia I have and correctly mentioned the phobias of friends and also friends of friends who received a reading from her. She mentioned the past life responsible for our phobia, very interesting.

why is it so amazing ?. it has been known for eons that the body emits an aura in harmonious colour some 6ft around it. Hence when we talk about being ‘off colour’ it means just that – there is something wrong and can pinpointed with accuracy. in addition we also term someone whose taste in the colour of their clothes as clashing with their aura. has anyone noticed other idioms such as green with envy, being yellow, seeing red and feeling blue.

I remember J Randi on a tv show with people that could “see” auras, after chatting to them he introduced 6 people all of the same height, then asked the clairvoyants if they could describe the colours in the different auras they all said they could. he then produced a screen that came to the tops of their heads and having given the people numbered cards, challenged the clairvoyants that had described the different coloured auras, to say who was where behind the screen, as their auras would appear above the screen! guess how well they did?
