Rudolf Steiner gave 6,000 lectures and wrote 30 books. He started a non-chemical (i.e. safe) agricultural system called bio-dynamics and created a education system that awakened the human heart (emotional intelligence) rather than bypass its development, which is the norm.
Steiner pointed out that Satan whom he called Ahriman, not to be confused with Lucifer, is the spirit who inspires the deadening of everything living, (artificial everything.) His aim to prevent man’s proper evolution.

Ahriman inspired materialism, technology, especially electrical (all media uses electricity) which are aspects of the dead mineral realm. The word mineral means small rocks, rocks are lifeless. Evil is “live” spelled backwards, hence the notion of anti-life or anti-Christ.
Steiner called Satan or Ahriman the arch deceiver, a being who lies, uses language distortion, mind tricks, false flags and fakery of all kinds to achieve his aims. He is an intellect on steroids.
I was immediately drawn in with this, but as someone raised a Catholic, educated in a Convent in the 1960s, I saw the rapid destruction of the Church from within via the modernism of Vatican 2.
And Steiner Schools are a disaster.

Reading the comments I notice the confusion of the statement ‘process of becoming’. Interpreted from a materialistic viewpoint iT may very well be considered anti- Christ. Personally I think Steiner was referring to the spiritual development of man becoming enlightened as Christ said ‘in my house there are many mansions’. This is equivalent to graduating to a high level (hence reincarnation) to a point as Christ did in raising Lazarus from the dead. Now in that alone one should understand NO-ONE DIES i.e. ones spirit (only the physical form – dust to dust) but moves onto higher realms dependent on ones level of development until one reaches PERFECTION as Christ did. The reason for Steiner schools deteriorating is due to the fact they have lost their way and understanding underpinning Steiner’s vision.

R. Steiner’s discussion of Ahirman referred to an earlier time when he/it came close to creating the same “material” mind set here, and in fact innoculated (you might say) just such a cultural. It was centered at a Muslim university “under the Afghan mountains, in Jandi Shapir,” if I have spelled that correctly.

That alleged fact was the most compelling part of Steiner’s warning, because it described what would have happened, if that had happened at such an early date.

Ahriman is not Satan.
Ahriman was not Satan in the Avestan language of Zarathustra (Zoroaster,) who called him Angra Mainyu and sometimes, by the epithet, Aka Mainyu.
Ahriman was not Satan in the Middle Persian tongue of the Sassanid Empire either, which is where he was first called by that name. Neither was Ahriman equivalent to Satan in Steiner’s own idiosyncratic theosophical cosmology.
Steiner associated Satan with Saturn and called this eminence, Asuric energy. Steiner’s Ahriman is, uniquely, a Solar energy inversion – an antichrist.
In many ways, Steiner’s use of the Middle Persian name for Angra Mainyu, is annoyingly problematic because the question it begs is, why choose “Ahriman,” in particular, to describe the antichrist spirit?
During later expressions of Zoroastrianism, “Ahriman” went through several other name changes to be linguistically accommodated by the Syriac, Armenian and Parsi. Why not any of those cognates?
Original Zoroastrian teaching, from the Gathas of the sage himself, is monotheistic. That is to say, Ahura Mazda (God) created Angra Mainyu (Ahriman.) As it has troubled Christians, the notion of a wholly benevolent God creating evil, troubled the followers of Zoroaster, who had already thought the problem through for himself, however. This, the prophet did, by innovating a concept of free will on Earth, among men. Evil became a choice men could make, not something that flourished spontaneously.
The influence of Zoroastrianism on post-exilic Judaism and on Christianity cannot be understated. In the books of Moses, Satan is the oppositionalist, an angel of god tasked with the “dirty work” but not evil per se. By the time of the Second Temple, the jewish Shaytin is much closer to the Zoroastrian concept of Angra Mainyu or Ahriman. This revisionism is exemplified in the books of Jeremiah and Daniel. In one Avestan myth, Ahriman tempts the prophet, Zarathustra while they’re on a mountain top, promising him all the riches of the world if he will only listen to Ahriman’s words.
If Ahriman became Satan in later recension, why would Steiner perpetuate the historical confusion? He believed, after all, that the two potentates represented distinct entities.
The answer to this, is probably quite mundane. Just as there are many theological disputations within tbe Christian Church, so are there, in the much older Zoroastrian religion.
Steiner derives his concept of Ahriman from a later revision of Zoroastrianism, known as Zurvanism.
This branch of Zoroastrianism eventually became predominant but it altered one absolutely fundamental principle of Zarathustra’s teaching, which was that the One God created the Devil and that free will was interpolated to allow men the choice to follow God or not. In Zurvanism, the problematic notion of a “good god” creating evil, is reconciled by the introduction of a primary agency, preceding creation. This is a very Hellenistic concept. The idea that there was substance before god. The difference is, that in the Grecian concept, the Void, into which god awakes, is the material from which he creates the universe. The Void is therefore without consciousness; it just is. In the Zoroastrian tradition, the state anterior to god is of conscious mind. He is Zurvan, the principle of Time. In this genesis story, Time (Zurvan) creates God (Ahura Mazda or Ohrmazd) and then doubts himself. In that moment of doubt, Time, without meaning to, creates a twin god, called Angra Mainyu or Ahriman. In the Zurvan recension of Zoroastrianism, god doesn’t create evil therefore but god’s twin, born of doubt within Time, is the source of all that is ill in the world. In this tradition, it is held that because Ahriman was only an expression of Time’s doubt then, in cosmic terms, his life would be of short lease. In fact, he’s given 9000 years to do his worst, before his pre-ordained death.
Zurvanism is the dualistic and heretical Zoroastrianism, which so influenced Semitic and later Christian theology; though it’s impossible not to see the Hellenic influence on Zurvanism, perhaps proceeding from Alexander’s defeat of the Sassanid Empire.
Rudolf Steiner was a very educated man, of course but the monotheistic character of Avestan Zoroastrianism was not widely understood among European scholars during the early twentieth century, who had accorded to Zoroastrianism a uniquely dualistic credo. Zurvanism, is itself, quite an early form of Zoroastrianism and the evidence before scholars, seemed to be that Zurvanism was the characteristic form of the ancient Persian creed. This was the academic orthodoxy Steiner drew from. It is the dualism of Zurvanism, that so influenced the later Old Testament prophets and the history of Christian thought and indeed, the modern satanic “religious” tradition in the west.
Angra Mainyu means “spirit/ mind of evil” in Avestan. Ahriman is from the same etymological root and can be taken to mean the same. Originally, Ahriman had no independent physical form but could take the shape of a man. Later, he became an actual entity, warring against god. A puddle of muddle, really. Especially when Steiner framed his thought in terms of Christian salvation from evil (a dualism) but actually espoused a tripartite understanding of spiritual history, involving the positive and negative aspecting of the Sun, the Moon and Saturn. We can be in no doubt though, that Steiner described Ahriman as a Solar entity; the negative aspecting of the Sun, which represents Christ energy in its positive aspecting. This is how Steiner came to equate Ahriman with the antichrist; via Zurvan Zoroastrianism, by way of Jeremiah and Daniel, then onwards to John of Patmos before assembling the fragments in a syncretic theosophical eschatology, much of which would have bemused the sage, Zarathustra.
There seems to be agreement on this at least: that Ahriman, whomever he may be, is a thoroughly bloody untrustworthy sort.
If you want to demystify this artificial force moving humanity toward a synthetic cyborg future think of space traveling Grey Aliens – who are synthetic beings that do not breath or eat or shit and operate space craft with any mechanical interface.
The leader of these Greys may very well be Arhiman (which sounds very similar to Abraham).
Earth was seeded with humans who went feral after the Anunnaki left. According to “Alien Interview” by Lawrence Spencer (free online and a must read) Greys are from a different Universe, have invaded our universe and are now taking over our galaxy (which is huge). So only a few Greys are assigned to our solar system. These Greys use telepathy to steer our civilization toward electricity and electronics.
In that book the Grey being interviewed states specifically that Nikolai Tesla was influenced by a Grey who gave him the information for his many discoveries.
So we have a book that says Greys are pushing toward this artificial future – and it makes sense – the Greys are moving mankind to merge with their civilization.
So once again I must bring up “god” and the horrible situation with humans. If you are not wiped out by one of Fauci/Gates plagues your future will be genetically altered for the higher purpose of space aliens. I was pleased with Taoism about forty years ago because it is a dualism without enmity and I blamed the idea of Good vs. Evil for a lot of war, where God is always us and Satan is always “them”. Taoists didn’t look like they made a mess of the world with that attitude. I have at times tried out yin as Satan and yang as God, and the other way round, but it never quite fits. Andyay says Zoroaster is responsible for the tricky paradox about Free Will, which I would iron out if I had a big audience. There are two Gods and they cannot agree, although they can hybridise in an isolated system, and were united in Chaos, and have a medium in each system. That is already complicated, but it is not mendacity like “God gave us Free Will”. Honesty says you are free to choose either way and no-one gave you this freedom. The lie is to defend monotheism, which is an error and based on ego.
