Well, I was born and raised there. Went for a trip to Europe in the early eighties and when I cam back, priority number one was getting out of the US and living in Europe. I had European ancestors and was able to get an EU passport. I lived in Europe for 35 years, in various countries, contracting in aerospace, and loved it. Then covid came along so I retired in Brazil, as my wife and daughter are Brazilian. I had the great fortune of meeting and getting to know a large group of older Russians, Ukrainians, Romanians and Polish when I lived in California, people who knew the world and what was going on. They suggested I go see the rest of the world, because there was a whole wide world outside the US. And their most valuable advice ever was, young man, DO NOT EVER get seriously involved with a typical American woman, go see what is available outside the US and you will never even consider it. I was raised in a jew loving family, so totally brainwashed and impossible to speak any sense to, so I simply cut contact, I cannot stand jew lovers.The place is so past the point of no return, the US has terminal cancer, and as they do to treat cancer, a good dose of radiation treatment (i.e. getting nuked and nuked good), is the only thing that can fix the place. I have to disagree with you on how you view the typical American, pal. It all comes down to class and education. Those who are highly educated and cultured are outstanding human beings. Same with the Brits: the British upper classes have set the standards for gentlemanly conduct. And the same goes for any other group.
