The problem with all law enforcements agencies in the west as has been proven, is once they are placed above accountability they progress from maintaining the law to being above the law; then they become an organised crime gang, then a mafia. That’s why accountability is key. Lose that then it’s just a question of how long before they become Capone with a badge. It’s the natural, unfaltering progression.
