The play off behind the scenes will be Musk threatening the Twitter High Command with criminal exposure, while the market price of Twitter shares dwindles to worthless. Musk, will then offer the Twitter Board a generous escape clause. “Nothing further will be said” he shall promise them, if they only sanction his complete buy-out of all shares, generously priced, at above the market value, of just one farthing per share.

Anyhow, here’s one way they track you on here:
1. You post something. That something has a time attached to it (next to your ‘name’).
2. When you post, your browser fetches “www.google-analytics.com/ga.js” (do “view source” in your browser for this page and search for “ga.js”).
3. At some point later in the day the google web trawler sucks up this page and matches the time from 1 with the time your broweser fetched “www.google-analytics.com/ga.js” for this page.
4. The IP address of your browser is then used to tag the comment you made. If that IP address is “yours”, you’re a “bad guy”. If it’s a VPN, and they actually care what you wrote, your VPN will give you up. No VPN doesn’t keep logs (it’s the law that they must throughout most of the world). If they say they don’t, then they’re almost certainly lying.
