Maybe the IDF were just trying to speed the procession of the coffin to minimize the time they were being confronted by rioting people surrounding the coffin and theat was why it was deemed necessary to be a bit physical with the bearers. Also I did see bearers appearing to try to kick the soldiers even whilst they were carrying the coffin. I can understand them wanting to hurry the procession along.
