A very simple example: how many employers will employ someone with a chip in their head, and an interface with external networks? Hardly any employer will employ them. Then you have security issues. Will airlines let you fly when you have the potential to interfere with the plane or its communications? Can you join the military with a previous AI in your body, same for the police. What happens to prisoners who have AI in them? If you embark of any AI or transhumanism trip, you’ll lose your friends, maybe members of your family will disown you. I have a relative who has a ring camera and one of those stupid listening devices in their home, I’m in two minds never to visit them again…
It’s all easy chat. No one is thinking this through, and I’ve just put these points together as I tap this out. If I could be bothered, I am sure I could destroy this transhumanist thing, because it’s going to be very niche, and those who do it, are going to have many problems.
