Identity politics, political correctness, virtue signaling, and wokeism have broken down intellectual integrity and scholarly standards in the academic world. Scholarship now exists in attenuated forms that serve ideological purposes, not factual ones. In short, “scholars” have come to serve ideological agendas, not truth. Even mathematics and science have been corrupted. Recently, Florida Education Commissioner Richard Corcoran had to reject 41% of the mathematics texts for Florida’s K-12 curriculum because they contained critical race theory and other propaganda used to indoctrinate students.
History, especially US history, has suffered terribly from the proliferation of anti-American propaganda masquerading as legitimate history. An example is the “1619 Project” that concludes that the United States originated in racism. A spinoff from this “history” is something called the “New History of American Capitalism” which argues that capitalism’s existence was dependent on slavery. The impression one gets is that slavery is an American phenomenon for which reparations must be paid.
Legitimate historians at the risk of being labeled “apologists for racism” have skewered the fanciful claims, but they as well as the proponents of the new history overlook the basic fact that no white colonist in the New World ever enslaved a black African. The black Africans were enslaved prior to their arrival in the New World. They arrived as slaves. They were enslaved by other blacks. Some of them were warriors captured in slave wars while trying to enslave other blacks.
The black kingdom of Dahomey was the principle enslaver of the time. The kingdom raided other blacks for slaves and sold the surplus. This history has been well documented, but it is not part of “black studies,” the “1619 Project,” or the “New History of American Capitalism.”
The real documented history is disappearing because it totally contradicts the new propagandistic history. Even the critics of the new history seem to be unaware of it.
The association of slavery with racism is another manufactured fiction. All peoples have been enslaved, including whites. Slaves brought to the New World were not brought because of racism. They were brought to the New World as a labor force so that the abundance of fertile land and natural resources could be exploited.
By the time the United States was formed out of the British colonies, slavery had been a labor force institution for a century and a half. For the US, slavery was an inherited institution, not a creation of independence and the Constitution. The Confederate States of America had no responsibility for the fact that the labor force of large scale agriculture was a slave labor force. This was an inherited labor force institution. Whites as well as blacks were born into the institution.
When the basic facts of New World slavery are totally ignored, it is obvious that the new history is propagandistic serving an ideology, not the truth. That universities and “scholars” corrupt themselves by loading curriculums with falsehoods is more proof that truth is less valued than propaganda that serves agendas.

The state of California has an angry task force determining how much free money to give African-Americans living in California who can prove they’re direct descendants of enslaved people.
Oddly, slavery is the best thing that happened to Blacks now living in the United States. They’re standard of living is hugely higher in the USA compared to their standard of living if they were born in Africa. They also don’t have to deal with the violence in Africa; they may have to deal with Black-on-Black violence if they live in a poor Black community in the United States.
Due to the outrageous Black privilege (college admissions and jobs, especially management jobs) Blacks should surpass Whites for average household income within 30 years; no more poor Black communities but large numbers of poor White communities hiding in the mountains.

How can a SJW in California or Michigan can use previous slavery as an excuse for the criminal behavior of blacks? There was never any slavery in these states and the blacks moved there, just like everyone else, to get a better life.

Slavery was often a seven-year stint and a choice, unlike the British experience of being made to work as children in mills, mines, in fields or on boats. Perhaps the British need some resentful buzz-words to describe that, or maybe everyone should shut up about their imagined grievances.

Do not be fooled into thinking that the author is redressing imbalances in historical accounting by compensation of the involvement of African tribes in slave commerce. Although this is true and I never object to truth being spoken, it is also a manipulation of the truth. By his devices, Roberts would have his readership believe that those Africans sold at market in the Americas, were victims of their own kinsfolk and yet equally insists upon the absence of racist sentiment in the slave trade. It is not that I would seek to dispute either proposition, necessarily but the way the facts are corruptly marshalled to create a platform for Roberts’ own philosemitic agenda setting. The slave trade, however, shouldn’t be immersed in such subsidiary terms as Europeans against Africans or Whites against Blacks, at all.
The international slave trade can only legitimately, by evidence, be contextualized as a jewish enterprise. Jews and their cohort against the rest of the world.
You just know that Paul Craig Roberts is a shill because he is fully aware of the abundant documentaty proofs brought to light by Louis Farrakhan and his research team, presented in the three volume, impeccably researched, historical series, The Secret Relationship Between Blacks And Jews, which proves, beyond reasonable doubt, that it was the jews who enslaved, or traded in already enslaved, African men, women and children. And in this, the true purpose of Paul Craig Roberts’ article is revealed, which is to keep the jewish role hidden forever. It is plainly diversion. He doesn’t once mention the single most important, primary players controlling transatlantic slavery, the bestial jews. The US National Archives shows approximately 80% of the slaves ships not only had Hebrew Names but Hebrew Owners. And 70% of them owned slaves, compared to less than 2% of Whites. PCR makes good points, but he never mentioned the Berbers and Moors, who not only enslaved European Christians (The Berbers and Moors are Muslim, of course….folks it’s not only the Jews who did this!) in the middle ages, but also American merchant seamen plying the Mediterranean Sea right after independence were being captured and sold into slavery (and these where likely 100 white seamen!), which led to the Wars on the Barbery Coast under President Jefferson.
For more info on oppression of whites, esp. whites from Britain and Ireland, and especially the Scots-Irish, a must read is Hoffman’s “They Were White and They Were Slaves.” They call it “indentured servitude” but not all whites coming over in the 1500s-1800s were indentured. The white slaves were first sent to the Caribbean where due to heat they weren’t used to, many were worked to death, so that was why they eventually scrubbed that idea and use slaves from Africa. But white slaves were still coming here, until indenture took over in the 1700s. Where do you think the term “forty acres and a mule” come from? This was the payoff if the indentured paid off the debt, and, of course, the “forty acres” were ALL in Appalachia, which is now “white trash central.” Thank God for Bluegrass…music, of course.

Curious PC Roberts never mentions the Jew, the scourge of humanity, and their satanic machinations in his pieces. Anyone who knows anything about slavery, particularly that which delivered so many savage street apes to North America, knows Jews played their typical role. Organized Jewry has worked hard to enslave all of humanity who isn’t of their tribe.
Perhaps 20 years ago, stickers started appearing around New Orleans on street signs and benches at streetcar stops that said, “We Should Have Picked Out Own Damn Cotton”. So true, because now that city, and any place in which the black population comprises more than 2%, is crippled by violent crime, stupidity, and decay. “Diversity”, particularly infusions of blacks, offers nothing but degradation, destruction, rape, robbery, and murder. I curse the kikes who brought those sub-humans to these shores.

PCR, also ignores the fact that the Scots & the Irish were slaves before and treated worse than the blacks because they couldn’t work outside due to the climate. He also failed to note that there were black slave owners in the US as well.
I’ve never trusted PCR for his philosemitism. He never has called out the Jew once. Clearly a Schofield Bible Christian. Most likely waiting for the nonsense known as rapture.

Whenever slavery is discussed, the tone goes to whinge-blame-swagger, the criminal emotion, and dishonest. If you look straight at the events, there is not particularly anything to complain about, unless people rode in, killed all the adults and stole all the children to sell. Even then, why were you not better defended, and ready to fight? If your parents sold you, you are from bad stock and probably no better than them. If you got fed and housed, be grateful for that. Do you resent doing any work at all? Then you are lazy, or too proud. BLM look to get revenge for slavery, being lazy criminals who do not work.
