An all-out war has been declared against Russia. The West does not conceal that the goals of its policy are aimed at suffocating and devastating the Russian economy, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Friday.
“Today, a genuine hybrid war, a ‘total war’ has been declared against us. This term, which was exploited by Hitler’s Germany, is now pronounced by many European politicians when talking about what they want to do with Russia. The goals are not concealed, they are publicly announced, that is to destroy, devastate, ruin, and suffocate the Russian economy and Russia as a whole,” Lavrov stressed.
The foreign minister lashed out at this “sanctions spree”, pointing out that it is becoming clear that all values that those in the West have been preaching to Russia, like freedom of expression, a market economy, the sanctity of private property and the presumption of innocence, are not worth a red cent.
Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24 launched a special military operation in Ukraine in response to a request for help from the Donbass republics. He said Moscow had no plans for an occupation of Ukraine. After that the United States, the European Union and Britain, as well as a number of other countries said they were imposing sanctions on Russian individuals and legal entities.

I have often told readers of this website and listeners to my radio show how much I admire Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, for his precise language, his level-headedness and maturity, his mental discipline, and his candor. He is a man, I think, worth listening to because in his words can be found the precise position of the Russian Federation.
Today, his words ought to send shivers down the spine. He spoke the words “All-out war has been declared against Russia.”
Lavrov is not some talk-show host, or news channel prognosticator; he is the Foreign Minister of the second most powerful nation on earth. Actually, based on their nuclear arsenal, Russia is THE most powerful nation on earth!
His words convey how Russia sees things. And right now, they see that “all-out war has been declared against Russia.”
I am not in Russia but the Russians I correspond with don’t seem to be experiencing any particular hardship.
People are OBSESSED with this concept of ‘Economics’ and ‘Import/Exports’ and so on.
Rather irrelevant anyway, if all nations are in billions of invisible debt with invisible interest being charged on it to blatant con-artists.
All that matters is a country can feed and fuel itself – self-sufficiency- and surely if Russia’s export of a finite but vital resource is sanctioned, it has more and cheaper for itself?
Plus, it simply has to trade with the other sanctioned powers.
Before World War One, Britain, the biggest promoter of sanctions apart from Albright-Land, had a thriving industry, thriving dockyards, eye- watering poverty in urban areas still (oh, that doesn’t really complete the picture :/ ), now it imports all its consumer goods from China, it fills up its ancillary positions with imported labour because the natives are too lazy (I work as a Domestic Assistant, am not talking off the head) and it is not remotely self-sufficient.
I think there is a valid thesis to be written on the desirability of sanctions in building National Autonomy.
But there has to be an ability to withstand hardship in the first place.
The last major riots in Britain, largely forgotten even after a few years , saw massive destruction of property, looting and murder.
But they were deliberately stoked up by Political Activists in the Culture and Media under the guise of one word – ‘Austerity’.
Most of the THICKbrits, who simply rioted and looted for the fun of it, would look at you blankly if you used the word Austerity in front of them.
Whatever Hal says, Russia is where all sane Westerners should seek to emigrate to.
Long Term Thinking is not a THICKbrit propensity, though, and no one I
talk to- maybe one – can comprehend it when I talk like this.

Honestly I think it’s a bit late for that.
Who can trust the West anyway?
The West has gone bonkers.
But it takes someone well seasoned, who’s been paying attention to all the lies at least since 9/11 to realize that. So really it means that most folk in the West are bonkers also.
Russia wants a divorce.
It wants its assets returned.
It wants out!
And it wants NATO to disappear from its border.
And who can blame them? The relationship has been very ugly and abusive.
The divorce doesn’t have to be permanent, but certainly for a while until respect returns and it comes with a guarantee.
PS: I don’t know how badly Russia is doing under the Western sanctions. The writer says badly, maybe not so bad. Who wants to be paid in American dollars anyway.

It’s funny how you point out britain not being self sufficient when you’re an immigrant — one of the reasons britain isn’t self sufficient. You probably also think that the british person whose job you took was “lazy” right? And the british person whose house you took deserves to die on the street. And then there’s the money you send back to pakistan or wherever you come from every year, leeching it away from britain. And the money you get the british to pay you for further filling up the country with your children, collapsing the health care service and turning the education system into a joke. And it’s all the fault of the british people. You make me sick.

No presstitute will touch recent history of Mariupol. Any map of the DPR (Donetsk People’s Republic) clearly shows Mariupol inside their area. It’s an important city that provides this people infra-structure to access the Azov Sea. Since post-2014 Ukrainian Regime has (or had) troops there, it means it invaded contested area, there’s no way around it.

Russia doesn’t have significant debt. The debt it does carry, is part of its international trade.
The blocks on Russian trade and finance will lead to a Russian default, but the truth is, it is the West who is the defaulter.
Lavrov’s words are quite stunning. I think there’s a high chance that Russia will strike the West with nukes. Biden also said there were circumstance when the US would use nukes first, the White House did not roll Biden’s statement back in.
For many years now, the US has adopted a first strike policy. This ‘exceptional’ shower of xxxt believes they can win. I’ve no doubt that many dumb asses in Washington believe that 70% of Russian nukes will fail and that they’ll shoot down 28% of the rest.
The US, and UK are sects where two bit politicians and advisors compete to see how far they can push their bullshit envelope and this becomes a matra which can’t be stopped.
If there’s a Russian nuclear attack on the West, be under no illusion, that there will be no corner of the UK that isn’t strwen will rubble, or burnt away. There are so say secret military facilties all over the UK, many are in locations/areas, where you’d think the Russians have little interest, well, that’s bunkum. I bet even the Shetland Islands will be nuked, so will Gibraltar. Sorry Spaniards…

How on EARTH did I manage to be so misconstrued?
I am a white native born English Speaker who can trace their ancestry here back at least 500 years.
I LOVED the country I grew up in and until the late 1970s could not imagine living anywhere else.
In my opinion, Year Zero for Britain was 1966, the year the Globo-Communist Comprehensive ‘Education’ system was imposed.
I voted for Brexit, and even voted Conservative at the last Election, although I know it is a rigged game.
I do kind of wonder how I could be so MASSIVELY misconstrued, especially with a name that sounds like it comes out of The Sloane Rangers Handbook , but find it rather flattering at the same time.

Even if that were to occur, it would be the precursor of a veritable ecological rejuvenation of the British native landscape compared to what the Globalist controlled ‘British’ establishment have been doing to it for the last 50 years, and that includes the systematic decimation of hedgerow , patchwork fields and small farming of the EU years.
Even a vastly ‘minimised’ populace ( I’m getting good at these NATO style euphemisms, arent I? 🙂 )and nuclearly ‘compromised’ surface landscape would grow back green roots after a few decades or so –

A few days ago there was an international military expo in Doha of Qatar. Iran was present in the exhibition, not with its regular army (Artesh) but with IRGC (“Terrorists”) and right in front of the stand of USA!!! They showcased some vessels, cruise missiles and a mock of Bavar 373 air-defense system. Americans had an actual MQ-9 drone in their stand. It is said some Arab and other visitors (potential weapons buyers) had asked about Bavar-373 and the Iranian guys had told them: “Look over there in the US stand… do you see that drone?! With an inferior air-defense system we shot down a much better US drone called Global Hawk flying at very high altitudes!” : )
Did you know even now Aramco is still burning after the attack a few days ago!
Another note: Russian philosopher and political scientist Alexandr Dugin who it seems is the brain behind the new Russia, advising Putin had visited Iran a few times and went on a TV show in Iran and also had participated in deep discussions with Iran’s thinkers in universities, Shia scholars and former IRGC strategists, exchanging views on a multi-polar world and various other issues! Russia is returning to Christian traditional values and views the western liberal-market-democracies as their enemy and according to Dugin Russian Orthodox Christianity and Iranian Shiite Islam are natural allies against various other extreme interpretations of these religions and have a role to play in end-times!
