The Yad Vashem Memorial, the Israeli institution dedicated to preserving the memory of the Holocaust, announced on 10 March 2022 that it was refusing a $10 million donation from Roman Abramovich.
Israel’s second wealthiest person, Roman Abramovich has dual Israeli and Russian nationality. He is in the process of liquidating his assets and properties in Europe and the Americas before they are frozen by states hostile to the Russian intervention in Ukraine.
The British government has halted the sale of his Chelsea FC soccer club and has set strict financial limits on its operation. Telecom company Three UK has suspended its sponsorship of the club. Meanwhile, Mr. Abramovich remains the owner.
While Mr. Abramovich was a member of President Boris Yeltsin’s inner circle, he has no political pull in the Kremlin today. The sanctions that target him are solely political and unrelated to any of his actionsan; they should be understood exclusively in the context of East-West relations.

One of my coworkers is a deranged “Christian Zionist”, among THE stupidest, most dangerously misguided cretins on earth. In fact, this guy is SO far gone, he actually considers himself to be a “Messianic Jew” despite the fact he was raised as a Baptist in Bum F*ck, Arkansas, population 1,500, mostly slack-jawed yokels. Baptists are, of course, a special breed of imbecile, with most of them turbo-devout believers of every word in the Book of Jewish Bullshit, er, I mean Bible. He boasted about having a yarmulke and Jew “prayer shawl”. I laughed at him for that, of course and told him he would drop to his knees and blow a kike if he had the chance. I told him he should wear his dunce cap, er yarmulke, and prayer shawl to Brooklyn and claim he’s a Jew, where those maniacal Hasids would spit in his face and kick his hayseed ass.
Anyway, we got into it about the holohoax one day and I laid some cold, hard facts on him. I even produced, among other things, actual photos of Auschwitz, the Red Cross report, and the population numbers provided by the World Jewish Congress itself. I informed him the narrative of the “Holocau$t” was an outrageous and grotesque lie. I explained what the prison camps actually were and advised him of the actual number of Jewish casualties. He sputtered and bleated out the rank absurdity that, “Even the Yad Vashem says 6 million Jews were exterminated”. I laughed so hard in response to that I almost threw up, then explained the Yad Vashem was certainly not any sort of neutral, unbiased source. In fact, it is the exact opposite; it is a museum of lies and treachery.
Yad Vashem is premature, looking forward to a time when only Jewish bs exists as historiography, but that time does not exist yet and humans need to make sure it never does.
