Introduction – Jan 21, 2022

Short of economic sanctions, the U.S. and its NATO allies can do little to thwart a Russian invasion of Ukraine. Any direct military intervention risks World War III and the West wants to avoid that because there is every possibility that it would result in a resounding defeat for the West.

Putin has spent the past few decades upgrading Russia’s dire post-Soviet military, to the point that it can now take on NATO. Put that together with Russia’s likely allies in any potential conflict – China and Iran – and the West faces a real problem.

To circumvent that and undermine Russia’s growing military prowess, we suggest that the U.S. and its allies will avoid direct conflict. Instead they will organise and incite armed opposition, so that if and when Putin decides to invade he will find he has ensnared Russia in a debilitating, low-level conflict right on its very border.

In fact they are already doing this.

Britain has just flown in thousands of anti-tank missiles into Ukraine, along with thirty Special Forces members to instruct the Ukrainians how to use them.

Meanwhile U.S. and Canadian Special Forces are helping to prepare the Ukrainians to meet a potential Russian invasion.

NATO’s objective is to turn Ukraine into a thorn in Russia’s side by inciting civil unrest and arming and supplying armed opposition. In effect turning Ukraine into a replay of events in Afghanistan, only this time happening in Europe not in Asia.

Of course this may not be what the American people want but it is the objective of those in the shadows who formulate U.S. foreign policy. They want Russia drawn into a low-level conflict that will sap its burgeoning military power and cause internal rifts within Russia itself.

Ukraine fits the bill perfectly and America’s senile puppet President Joe Biden will be the leader in whose name this treacherous policy will be rolled out. Ed.
