The Federal Emergency Management Agency has announced it will conduct a nuclear detonation “drill” on January 6 from 3:00-3:30 PM eastern time. Strangely, in the past, federal “drills” turned out to be the real thing . . .

If a nuclear detonation occurred in an American city, it would be one of the most catastrophic incidents the United States (US) has ever experienced.
Responders must be prepared to address the unique challenges of a nuclear response.
With careful planning, many— if not most— lives can be saved. Additionally, preparing and planning for nuclear detonations better equips your community for other natural and man made hazards/disasters, such as fire-spread, hurricanes, earthquakes, and radiological incidents.
While the fallout hazard is unique, most aspects of multi-hazard or all-hazard planning and response are applicable to nuclear detonation response and planning.
Planners and responders bring a wealth of experience and expertise to nuclear detonation response.
This guidance provides nuclear detonation information and context to enable planners, responders, and their leaders to leverage their existing capabilities. This document describes the considerations, planning factors, and available resources to craft a successful nuclear detonation response plan.
The focus of this document is on the first 24 to 72 hours after a detonation, when early actions can save many lives. The primary audiences for this planning guidance are Federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial (FSLTT) emergency response planners, at all levels, and their leadership.

What seems most interesting (to me) is that the manual repeatedly makes clear, YOU WILL HAVE NO FEDERAL HELP FOR 24-72 HOURS!
Of course, the FEMA manual, being 241 pages, is a lengthy read and almost none of you will bother reading it. Given that reality, I think it proper to ask:
If you are sitting at home, or at work, or you’re in your car, minding your own business, and the Emergency Alert System tones come blaring on your radio or TV telling you a nuclear attack against the United States is in progress and missiles will be impacting within minutes . . . what’s the first thing you would do?
Stop a second and think about that. What is the first thing you would do?
Most people have no friggin clue . . . at all.
Panic sets in, no one is thinking, no one has a plan . . . a recipe for total disaster!
So think about it, folks. What would YOU do?
Go in the basement? Do you even have a basement?
Is there any food, water, or potassium iodate down there?
When the bombs hit, the electricity goes off, do you have any warm clothing down there? Flashlights? Batteries? A first aid kit?
Start thinking about this now because FEMA’s “drill” is this Thursday.
And, as we all saw on 9-11, the federal government has a tendency to run “drills” when things are actually going to take place.
I hope that people are prepared for unexpected events that could happen, although I doubt that most people are prepared, but we should not live in mind-numbing fear on a daily basis. The most important thing is to be prepared to meet God. Then if a deadly incident happens and you are killed, you will not be in the horror of Hell for eternity.
I hope it will not be that soon, at least. However, we will find out later today…
Something one doesn’t hear now is the possibility of a “dirty bomb” potentially used by “terrorists”. It’s a sound bite like “peak oil” that’s not heard these days. A “dirty bomb” is purported high explosive device seeded with radioactive materials. I suspect some of the detonations in Nevada back in the day were of this kind.
For me, the concept of “a nuclear bomb” is similar to that of a “pathogenic virus” or “Jesus”; none of them have ever existed, but it’s possible to frighten people, attribute causation, and organise society on the basis of their alleged existence.
In any case, this Hal Turner prophecy is something I will bookmark in my browser’s “Prediction” folder alongside the “coming bombing” of the 2012 Olympics, the destruction of Seattle that was foretold last year, and Trump coming back on a cloud of glory – although I’m sure many Qtards believe he’s already in power…
There was a newspaper headline many years ago in a British tabloid that proclaimed something like “American B52 Bomber Found On The Moon”. And I mean who wouldn’t be tempted to buy such a newspaper? The hinterland of reality and the very improbable is more interesting than everyday stuff while allowing readers to suspend their disbelief more than obvious science fiction. It is this hinterland that fuels the likes of Hal Turner’s clickbait truth business.

To Simon Smith–why not believe in nuclear bombs if we have nuclear power stations? Power plus pressure plus failure can give an explosion.

I’d look for the bright light and go towards it. That was my plan when I was a child living through the big nuclear threat of the 1950’s and it remains the same. If insanity ever reaches the pinnacle of nuclear war then this world is no place for me. Covid insanity has only strengthened my resolve to go towards the light. So I’m prepared for a winter power outage, because it’s happened before, but that’s the extent of my planning. I’ve faced fear of many things in my long-enough life but every single time it eventually lost its grip on me and I walked on. You can’t cower forever, neither can you weep forever. Coping, caring and courage are consistent companions that will last a lifetime, if you let them.
So ?? Praise the Lord, but keep the powder dry ! You will need it very soon IMO ??

Excellent question, and thank you for asking. Because the nuclear power that produces electricity arises from the heating of water caused by the relative slow process of radioactive decay. The heated water, just like from a coal powered generator then turns a big electromagnet that then transduces the mechanical energy to electricity – Fleming’s Right Hand Rule.
Explosive nuclear energy on the other hand is predicated on a catastrophic cascading principle. It is this I dispute. And so do others such as the Japanese Akio Nakatani in “Death Object: Exploding The Nuclear Weapons Hoax”.
The original “A” Bomb that is supposed to have been dropped on Hiroshima was made from the usual bomb casing material and two pieces of Uranium 235. One piece was fixed at one end of the bomb while the other was set to move very fast like a bullet into the other. The science fiction of this was that a “critical mass” was attained by this collision that caused the explosion. Now, by admission of the official narrators no U235 bomb had been tested before Hiromshima…It worked fist time !
BUT YOU ASK…what about the tests ?
Yes, the tests were allegedly conducted on a “plutonium bomb” of a more obfuscating design than the simple one showcased in the above paragraph. This second type of “tested” bomb was allegedly deployed at Nagasaki.
(Now, there are those who agree with me on the nuclear bomb hoax who also dispute nuclear power – I am not one of them.)
To Simon Smith–I only know a lot of rumours, but engineers can usually think of something. I heard that the bombs used on Japan were built in Nazi Germany; Bruce Cathie said you need to choose a special time and place to detonate a nuke and 33 degrees is often involved (Nagasaki, New Mexico, maybe future Syria); the Sun is supposed to be a nuclear power station with also big explosions. I generally do not see why it would be impossible, even if it is difficult.
