The mock attack came as a part of the Great Prophet 17 military drills, a large-scale, five-day exercise in Iran that began on December 20. Footage of the destruction of the mockup of Israeli Dimona reactor, officially known as the Shimon Peres Negev Nuclear Research Center, was circulated by Iranian media over the weekend.
Video of the exercise shows multiple ballistic missile launchers, some disguised as civilian freight trucks, lining up for the attack, before unleashing a volley of projectiles at the target. At least one launcher, packed with suicide drones and disguised as a dump truck, is featured in the video as well.
The missiles are then shown obliterating the mockup, bearing the distinctive features of the Dimona reactor, including a circular dome and ventilation shafts for underground facilities. A total of 16 ballistic missiles and five suicide drones were used in the exercise, according to Iranian media.
The Great Prophet 17 drills come amid heightened tensions between Iran and Israel, and in the wake of stalled talks on the 2015 nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). Israel has consistently opposed the agreement and attempts to revive it, claiming that Tehran is seeking to produce nuclear weaponry, a charge that Iran has repeatedly denied.
Israel has reportedly been weighing a military option against Iran, considering a preemptive strike on its nuclear facilities regardless of the fate of the JCPOA. Iran has warned Tel Aviv against such actions, with the commander-in-chief of the IRGC dismissing them as “Zionist empty threats,” and adding: “If the officials of this regime do a damn thing, we will cut off their hands.”

The prospect of Israel being blanketed in nuclear waste and rendered uninhabitable for all time does have a certain appeal.
I’ve been saying this for years.
Iran now has the means to strike Dimona nuclear facility. If Israel attacks Iran, may Iran wipe Israel off the map, or at least make it uninhabitable.
When Iran attacked that US base, I doubt they were trying to kill, they just wanted the US to know they could do it.
It isn’t talked about, but Iran has at least two big Soviet era nukes. The US and Israel know they have these weapons. They are banking on the possibility that Iran hasn’t been able to maintain these weapons. We might be lucky enough to find out.
On a side note. The US is trying to destroy the Turkish Lira and economy… NATO member, & bring Erdogan down after Israel’s two failed coups.
Look at all the countries around Israel, they’ve all be attacked or degraded. Some have been sent back to the stone age. The US & UK are doing the same thing to the EU, because most EU leaders are CIA/MI6 assets. We wait to see who the new German Chancellor bat’s for, but it doesn’t look promising.

I’ve always maintained Israel would have to be nuts (they are) to attack Iran. If they do and Iran attacks Dimona it is all over for the state of Israel. And this is to say nothing of the tens of thousands of Hezbollah missiles which would rain down on the country. Remember years ago when Israel had all those forest fires, they couldn’t put them out. How would they deal with a radioactive country that is completely destroyed. Bunch of radioactive jews coming to a state near you.
Once again Nuclear bombs are overrated. Nuclear energy however is very important, specially with the new TRISO based smaller mobile reactors that Iran too is secretly working on. They can fuel a Ship or Sub for 17 years without refueling.
But Nuclear bombs are the weapons that kill innocent and have lots of collateral damage, besides no one dares to use them as they will be on the receiving end too. In contrast sure-strike conventional missiles can have adjustable warheads just for enough for the target and using them specially in defense won’t bring international condemnation. Iran has already deterred its enemies with Missiles and Drones and has supplied its allies with them too. For example Venezuela could directly launch missiles at US soil.
We are in the era of cybernetics in which only Energy and Data/Information/Intelligence matter, Drones, Missiles, Satellites, Internet and AIs are the weapons. An aircraft carrier is a symbol of the old empires, they are useless and a liability nowadays, a drone carrier is useful but it doesn’t have to be such a huge slow target!
Another thing about this war-game was the use of drones controlled by AI. At 2:13 you see one of the drones perfectly hit a small vertical cylinder, obviously no one believes that an operator used a joystick to guide it there!! The truck that carried the drones can be deployed anywhere around Israel!
