The maker of the robot wants to study human-robot interaction. I am sure that they are also studying how people experience facial pareidolia from humanoid robots. The terrifyingly realistically facial expressions make that a lot easier for the company.
The video shows the humanoid robot warming up its shoulders before a click enables its eyes to open. When its eyes open the robot expresses genuine-looking shock and a surprized facial expression. The robot then continues to blink several times, then continues to observe its own machine arm. The video ends with the robot vaguely smiling and reaching out his hand staring into the soul of any onlooker.

It is important to note that Ameca is not able to walk yet, although the company is working on upgrading its abilities over time to ensure that Ameca will walk one day. The company is making the robot available for rental and purchase, although no price has been announced yet.

Yep, it’s gonna come, but only thicko sheeple will interact with these robots, just as they interact with Alexa. The WEF has long campaigned that robots/AI have the same rights as humans. Here is the lie, robots and AI will have more rights than humans. Robots will have upgradability, & there’s going to be a big 2nd hand market for these tin men, so robots will have more intrinsic value (capitalist thinking) than your typical sheeple. Robots will be plugging themselves in, & probably for free, or at a very low cost. You’ll never see a homeless robot.
What we see in the video are mechanical systems, probably using bellows to mimic facial movements, but very easy to see this thing covered in latex and makeup which could stand in for any political muppet or celebrity, should their pockets be deep enough.

Term AI is wrong. There is no Artificial Intelligence fully independent of human intervention. Behind this robot behavior is software written by human. Ability to learn new things is completely dependent of what was written in instruction. For example, if we talk to someone and that person rise eyebrow at the moment of answering our question we would notice that movement or not depending of zillion parameters. And if we notice it we would interpret it based on yet another zillion parameters including instinct. And, further, our reaction to it would be based on yet another zillion parameters. Robot will never have such capabilities. I also think that attempt to create fully independent robot with some neuron computer in it will fail. Engineers think that it’s only a question of somehow connecting something to something and it will work as desired. Nope. There is such thing called intangible part of human existence which they will never grasp.

I am so pleased you used humans because there aren’t that many left. Aside from the fact that those who’ve had M-RNA jabs, & not necessarily those who believe they’ve been jabbed, they are no longer human, but the bar is now ridiculously low, these robots/AI won’t have a big problem being better than your typical sheeple.
This is why I don’t agree with the transhumanist threat because most sheeple aren’t worth investing in. If we didn’t have such an evil elite, I can see many genuine applications for robots, but the truth is, they will be used to suppress remaining human endeavors. I can think of countless jobs where I would prefer a robot doing the job. Imagine a hospital porter that can work 24/7, or a GP robot who you can see whenever you want… finger will be pre-warmed.
The sad truth is that robots will be despatching humans (sheeple) once they are deemed unviable. We already have algorithms that decide who lives and who dies. Most doctors don’t want to scratch their heads at 3 am deciding what to do when AI says ‘turn off life support. In fact, the doctor is protected from negligence. Robots/AI flying planes, no drunks, no falling asleep at the stick, no dropping dead from Covid jabs…
I like jokes and literary forms which a robot can never understand. In 1978 I wrote a lot of impossible tasks for the machine, which can only perform them if specialising, and being dependent on Man, as Wolf says.
Looks like a negroid mongrel to me, and Lord knows we have far too many of them polluting our societies already. Off with its head.

Reminds me of the Will Smith movie I, Robot based loosely on Isaac Asimov’s novel. Not a world for humans to be in with difficulty identifying who is a human or android. I bet many politicians and celebs are already such creations, remember they are releasing the info relatively slowly to the people but in fact have been using it on us for years I imagine. If they switch to attack mode, their strength would be far greater than us. Another way we are in mortal peril.

this ‘robot’ runs runs on software… this software somewhat like that used in 3d computer graphics (maya 3ds max etc) runs on a a nodal set of parameters..thus this thing is no more than a mechanical shrek it doesn’t respond it obeys… a dumb oddity that runs through a programmed routine… it is a an automaton somewhat like the smoking monkeys from the the nineteenth century…
